bio cell users

just got my black bio cell with black ad di 7x and it looks and feels great off the face. first time out on a sim today and it just didnt feel right swinging it. played a zl ad di 7x with 10 gram weight past 3 years and g25 with ad di 7x last year sharing time with the zl and loved them both.

 

when i got home i threw all the heads on a scale. zl with 10g weight is 199 grams, g25 200 grams. bio cell 192 grams.

 

the weight wouldnt bother me if the head had removable weights that i could change but since it dont im stuck with lead tape or the tungsten weights with the rubber coating. no way to access the head through the hosel for hot melt.

 

wondering if most bio cell heads out there are the same weight or if some of you guys received significantly heavier heads?

If you are talking about the newest head it has a hotmelt port on the sole just under the S in smartpad

didn't see a port on my bio cell. I throw it on a scale and get a head weight.

btw, I have a WB 73x in mine and played one round with it and it feels great and straight.

For reference, my Bio Cell head came in at 192g and my Bio Cell+ head came in at 198g

on the +? on the regular biocell i dont see anything that would allow hot melt

Neither driver, the + or standard has a hotmelt port. Lest Years Amp Cell Pro does though.

Weird. Neither my Bio or Bio+ has a port. I just double checked.

I was just looking at my bio cell head and it seems to me you could add hotmelt through the hosel if you take out the screw. Mine definitely has no port. I have never added hotmelt, but I was able to fish around with a paper clip.

Anyone willing to offer $1000, it's yours! My amp cell pro has the same port so I thought nothing about it.

Orange Bio Cell with plastic on head is 195.6 grams

Silver Bio Cell+ with plastic on the head is 200.4 grams

Neither head has a hot melt port.

thanks for that info, i havent taken the shaft all the way out, only loosen enough to turn the shaft. actually there was a cut out inline with the loft window and a space inbetween where screw sits. shoved 8 grams of fiber fill in there and will give another shot this weekend

I just got my bio cell woods - I played the amp cell with WB 83x previously and loved it. 3wood was covert w fuji f3 90x. I ordered my Bio Cells with the Red Tie 78x but I can barely feel the heads and just snap hook everything. (+2 hdcp here, and was flushing it all day with my amp cell so it wasnt my swing, everything else was working fine)

Should I go to lower weight shafts to start feeling the head, or should i see if theres a way to get some hotmelt in there to bring the weight up?

Anyone else having issues with the regular bio cells being too light?
