They are a couple of years old stock but I really like them if you are looking for some plain solid shirts and they have your size. I love the fit for me. They are slightly slim fit. They are a stretch pique style that breathes. I would call it a micro pique. I'm your average/slightly out of shape/normal size 6'2" 205 guy lol and I ordered Large and they fit perfect. I think if you order $100 or more you get 15% off. I got 7 shirts for $120.

I've never had a Dunning shirt with a sleeve that came anywhere close to my elbow, and I have 5 or 6 of them.
I'm a fit 5' 11" 175lbs, and a I have relatively short arms. 33" sleeve dress-shirt.

I've only wore one of them once and am pretty sure the sleeves were what I said it was. I wear a 34/35 shirt for reference. I will check when I get home.

I think you guys need to clarify which 'OVER' you're referencing.

I think the OP means an inch over as in, it stops above the elbow, whereas I'm pretty sure you're referencing over as in going past the elbow.

Like I said; I've never had a Dunning shirt with a sleeve that came anywhere near my elbow...I didn't say 'over'.
Even their shirts that aren't the specified slim cut have a nice, modern length that falls well short of elbows.

I picked up 2 XL's for $40 - can't beat that, I'll see how they work. Hoping for a shorter sleeve length due to having a large bicep size as the longer one just bunches.

You'll like the sleeve length and quality of the shirts, I think. I'm pretty fussy and anti-long / baggy sleeves (think FJ or Peter Millar). Dunning shirts are nothing like that. Very modern Euro-styling.

6'2 205 and the large in a slim fit is "perfect"??? I would think that the large would be WAY too tight.

I just ordered 2 of them to try out. I tried a pique one and an interface stretch one. I'll leave my very critical feedback when I receive them I'm always in search for the "right" polo shirt.

I was kind of confused about this. I figured "pique" to be a cotton blend, but even the pique shirts still say 100% microtech polyester. Anyone have an idea about that?

Pique means the way the fabric is woven. Think of it as a tic tac toe grid. I called it a micro pique because they are extremely tightly woven together...whereas think about the old classic Ralph Lauren polo, that was not as tightly woven together...I think I just confused myself...Lol

What's the difference between the pique and the solid interface?

I have no idea but I would assume it's the same material just not pique. It's light in weight and breathes. For the money they are excellent.

A pique fabric refers to it's knit structure (not woven). A pique fabric is not as smooth as a jersey knit (think old school Ralph Lauren Polos vs. a t-shirt) and has a tendency to snag more than a jersey due to its structure and it will not wick as well. Pique and micro-piques are considered knit structures for an older generation whereas jersey fabrics are considered knit structures for a younger demographic because it is easily printable and has a techier look and feel.

I'm thinking the solid interface version is just a smoother, more tech feeling material (vs the pique). I ordered one of each today to see the difference. They should be here early next week so I'll post my feedback on each of them.

The pique is 100% tech poly, and the solid interface can be 100% poly or around a 90/10 poly/spandex mix (even if the golfanything ad says 100%, the inside tag says 88/12). The differences are in feel, where the interface stretched more, and most significantly in weight. The pique is a 100 gram weight, while the interface is more like a 150g. They both wear nicely, but the interface drapes incredibly well. Well made shirts all around. I would say anything under 85*, and I would go with the interface (I really like the fabric). Above 90*, and I'd go with the pique.

Ok so as mentioned above, I ordered 2 of these. One was the pique, and the other was the interface. For what it's worth, here is my mini review and feel free to ask any questions I could help with.

Both shirts are very nice, quality materials. The pique (as described by the OP) is a very fine micro pique in a tech poly. It's very thin, light weight and comfortable. I was never for anything pique on a hot day, but this one seems like it would be great. Again, very thin and feels breathable.

The interface stretch polo is a very impressive material. I like this one a lot. It's a little denser/heavier than the pique, but it's a great stretchy spandex poly material. Both shirts have nice self collars, and are very clean looking shirts.

My only gripe is the fit. They are not super boxy, but they are not as athletic/tailored as I'd like them to be. Sleeves are a little too long for my liking (I prefer them ending in the bicep somewhere), they tend to be at the very bottom or just passed the bicep.

As a reference, I'm an athletic 5'9" 170 and wear size Medium in Travis Mathew, RLX, Sligo, etc... and these Mediums were bigger. They seem to fit just like a regular Adidas or Nike Medium do off the rack... ok but not ideal (for my taste).

All in all great quality shirts that I will be returning because I don't like the way they fit, unfortunately. After re-reading SPIFs post, I'd say he's spot on.

I got mine today as well. Both Pique shirts - they sent me the wrong version of the navy one I ordered so I'll be exchanging that one. OMG I AM SO OUTRAGED! CAN YOU BELIEVE THE NERVE OF THAT COMPANT TO SEND ME THE WRONG SHIRT? THEY NOW OWE ME A MILLION DOLLARS! Ooops, sorry...I was momentarily inhabited by one of the WRX cry babies that were so wronged somehow (a growing trend). I'll be sending that one back in exhange for a non-pique shirt.

Like Greyboy said above they do fit rather large (which I don't mind, in some cases). I ordered an XL, I'm 6'5 240lbs and its quite a bit more "roomy" than other shirts I own - and it's actually not a bad change-up from my more form fitting apparell. They are SUPER long - which again I like, as I do have an issue keeping my Travis Mathew shirts tucked in the entire round.

If you like the form fitted approach, size down.
