What putter did you just buy ?

The stronomic Triforce insert works better for my stroke. Never could get my feel right with any white hot insert

Sure are a bunch of 2 balls out there with the White Hot insert. I believe I read it was the biggest selling putter of all time, I know I putted with the blade version for years

I’ve tried so many mallets this year and after going back to my old Titleist Reuters Bullseye started looking for something as “simple” but more forgiving and stumbled on this for $40.  Couldn’t find much info on the model but it looked like it may be face balanced and it is.  Incredible feel and loving it.

Is that a Kirk Currie? He was one of the first designers that developed a system of fitting a putter to your needs back in the 90s. You can find his name licensed to Slazenger, Precept and Wilson as well as a few made in his shop. Good putters that can be bought cheap now a days for some reason.

Picked up 2 this weekend. Wanted a Newport style CS putter, found these in two stores about 2 miles apart. The Bettinardi is almost mint condition.

I actually have a 2-Ball...a DFX (stronomic) 2-Ball. 

 

For whatever reason my speed control was never right with the White Hot insert. Obviously that was just me. Stricker probably made more money with his White Hot than almost every other putter in history outside of Tiger's Cameron.

Yep.  I started searching eBay for some of the older putters and remember Kirk Currie putters were highly regarded, especially for the "Balance" series.  Didn't even know about all of the other models.

Went to the local Golf Galaxy to get a new glove, wandered over to the used putter section and this minty TP immediately caught my eye. I think it’s a “MyTP” Soto someone traded in at GG. Didn’t all the 2023 retail putters ship with the white true roll face insert? And no “303” text on the back flange like the retail putters. Retail or “MyTP”, they were asking $50, so I got a good deal regardless since they’re still going for $100+. I don’t need another putter but I couldn’t just leave it there.

A quick kudos shoutout to Sub 70 customer service.  I hadn't bothered trying any of the included weights until this past week because I'm doing well with the default setup.  I emailed them about an issue with a couple of the weights, they immediately sent out replacements, no questions asked, they arrived today and, Bob's your uncle, issue resolved.

Picked up a mint Cameron Special Select Flowback 5.5 35" this past week.  4 rounds with it and it's a keeper.  So pretty, though, almost hate to take it to the course!! :>)

Had never seen or heard of the putter I picked up today…Odyssey Versa Twelve.  Coming from an XG 7 this Twelve putter really clicked with what I like to see when lining up a putt.

I love my 2Ball DFX. 33 inch with a double bend shaft. Feels great

I purchased a Cobra Agera RS-30 3D Printed putter 3 weeks ago and I’ve really liked the results this far. This is the first mallet ever that I’ve been semi decent with for lag putting and I’ve tried so many!

It feels automatic from 6 feet in. I play it at 35 inches so I swapped the 15g stock weights for 5g weights for it to have a headweight of 345g. The weights from the previous Cobra fit thankfully.
