Garsen Puter grips

Noticed a max on one of the Senior players this past weekend in Birmingham. Can't remember who it was now.

I'm just wondering if by using these grips, the stroke style is affected or improved, I mean if someone with a strong arc moves to a slight arc and someone with a slight arc have it transformed to a straight path.

I have been using the Garsen Pro Max grip now for about a month. My stroke has improved and I find I am making more putts from long range, misses are usually much closer to the hole. My short range putting is much better. I do not have the fear of the dreaded 5 footers any more. I will put Mr. Garsens grips on any putter I have for now on. It is an idea that should have come out long ago.

FWIW, I have a mostly straight path. I haven't noticed it having changed from the grip, but that would be something that would probably have to be measured with the Ping app or putt lab.

Had one on a Betti that I got in a trade. With my grip these aren't for me. I applaud Garsen for an innovative design but it didn't fit my stroke. I was not willing to change my grip to get it to work.

Pretty tough sell when you can't put your hands on a grip before purchase, even for a flat top grip, let alone a grip that has a radically different design from traditional grips.

I think it was the wisest investment I have made in grips for putters. I can understand the apprehension about not being able to see, try before buy. But if you like the thought process behind the grip order it. I really can not explain the comfort factor, it just makes your hands and arms work as one. I have really improved my putting with Mr. Garsens grip, all I can say is the grips work.

All joking aside, I predict in the next two years that you will see the amount of tour players using these increase 10 fold. Although they may be too different than conventional to work for some of the traditionalists, I think this idea is gonna catch on. I'm in like a dirty shirt.

Completely agree. Going to get more and more popular. Happy I was in at the beginning. Great purchase.

Another happy to be in the beginning, especially when perhaps my grips are the first that arrived to Australia.

Today I got them installed. I had to explain a couple of times how to install it as the bloke was so confused as he couldn't find the flat area of the grip. But he did it and was impressed to see how the putters felt.

Both Edge and Max feel great! Edge went on the Nike and the Max on the Scotty.

The putters are bloody square when setup and whilst stroking, my twisted wrists are not twisted anymore. I feel cured!

The ball goes where I'm aiming, my arms feel relaxed and Very natural. No stress in the hands. Easy to control the distance.

I only tried on the carpet but tomorrow I'll try them on the course. I foresee a big improvement in my putting accuracy and as GPRO1 says: don't change the putter, but only the grip. Well done Bernerd!

Garsen Golf customer service is FANTASTIC!!!!! I sent an email through the website last evening and received a reply in less then 12 hours. I also had the pleasure to speak to Mr. Bernerd Garsen personally, (via phone and email). I ordered both the G-Pro EDGE, (going on old PING Karsten 2 blade putter), and the G-Pro Max, (installing on a yet to be cut down TaylorMade S Ghost Belly putter 43" down to 36"). I can't give enough KUDOS to Mr. Garsen and his staff for the wonderful customer service. I wish him much success!!!!!

***Also, can the GolfWRXers answer a general question for me? Do I need to be a paying member to create my own forum post/topic? If not, can someone direct me on how to create a topic? Thank You!

EDGE grip with air.

[background=rgba(255,255,255,0)]I played the competition today which was a 4 ball ambrose. The group was far to be players but aspiring golfers. It was me sinking all the birdie putts. Final putt was 16 ft up and right for par. Again it was me sinking it when everybody else couldn't make it. At the end of the day, we [b]won [/b]the competition and I couldn't be happier as the grip made a substantial positive change in my putting helping us to win today. Well, this might be a humble win for the G-Pro Edge but it was a win [/background]

I've seen these grips and they look pretty strange, if you're looking for a good grip, you can't go wrong with SuperStroke.

Ha to the above post. Superstroke makes a fine grip, one of the best, but the G pro is a whole different animal. Both are top notch products with top notch quality and customer service. But I'm not sure how you could try to dissuade someone from trying a new product without actually trying it yourself.

The max grip is actually pretty similar to my superstroke slim 3.0. Just much more comfortable in my hands than the superstoke.

I agree the Max grip is very comfortable. Keeps the arms and hands feeling very relaxed thru the stroke. Yes it took me a few putts to get used to it, but every time I play it gets more and more comfortable. Saturday was one of my best days putting. I had 4 birds and worst was only one DB. Can't say enough about Bernerd Garsens G Pro grips. I have guys trying it out and always commenting on it. Try it if you get the chance. Then pass judgement.

I just replaced a SS mid slim with a G-Pro Max and it has been such an improvement in my putting. I won't go back.

G-Pros might look strange but they really work. Btw, SS are far from beautiful IMHO. Anyway, whatever helps you to sink more puts is the best.

This is indeed unique. I never installed mine because my preferred grip has my thumbs on a "cross" alignment.

I bought a couple. Tried for a month. Couldn't putt well with it. Distance control terrible. Not to say that others won't just didn't work for me. No feel like traditional putting grips with thumbs down the shaft. Put about 15 rounds on it then cut it off.

Count me in the group that the G pro didn't work for. I didn't have the same feel in my fingers and it bugged me.

Garsen putter grips may not be for everyone, just like SS grips are not for everyone. Me I have had very good results with the Garsen grip. It is staying . Results are what we are all after. I think the idea Bernerd Garsen has is thinking outside the box and gladly it is helping many golfers , including tour pros as every week more pros are also putting the grips in play.

Does anyone have any feedback on which type of putter/stroke seems to get the best results with this grip? Face balanced? Toe hang? I just ordered one to try...I'm constantly searching for help on the green, so I figured why not. Now the only question is which putter....

I noticed Stenson's grip on his MAX. It seemed he wasn't gripping it they way it was intended. I don't remember what hand, but he had only 1 thumb positioned on the side, if you know what I mean.

I noticed that in a photo published at the event official site. Anyway, he did an outstanding job on the US Open.

GPRO1, I have a pretty neutral grip (somewhat weak left hand) and from the video it looks like you do too. To me it looks like my grip would work perfect on a garsen grip. What do you think?
