Hello all, I figured I would update my WITB for the first time in a long time. I used to be super active on GolfWRX, and in the world of golf, and basically took a 10ish year hiatus due to just not enjoying it anymore. I've been getting back into it over the last year and have been enjoying it a lot more now than I did in a long time. Here's some quick snaps of what I'll be taking with me to Pinehurst for the Wilson experience I was lucky enough to win.

Very nice set up. Sweet irons. I often use the same hybrid head/shaft combo and like it a lot. Though it can't touch my 14* mid TP. I'll be into that super quad in two years when it's in my price range.

You would vomit if you knew what I paid for the SuperQuad. I think I got it cheaper than anybody else that has one.

I love my Titleist stand bag. I had a Ping before, but it fell apart. I have had this one for more than a year and it still looks new.

Thanks for all the kind words again everybody. I really don't have a lot of money in this bag. I have been very fortunate to work in a golf shop and to know some very kind people. I probably have less than $1000 in the whole bag. Keep the comments coming.

I do like them. They feel very nice, and I happen to think they are pretty sweet looking. To each his own I suppose.

You're probably right and they are without any doubt very good clubs. :)

 

Nevertheless very nice bag...

Picked up a new 3 wood today. Might try it out. It is a Callaway Big Bertha Fusion Fairway. I may stick a Diamana 83 or a Fuji 757 in it tomorrow. I'll post pictures. Oh, and I may have a new driver. Hope not, but maybe.

 

Thomas, I promise you would like the irons if you saw them and hit them. LOL.

3 wood update:

 

Well the shaft CPM's out to a hefty 7.4 so I'm not sure if it will stay. I hit it well during my round and didn't have any trouble hitting it, but still not sure if I want that much shaft.

I currently use a 60/56 set up but i just got a tour 58 that i want to put into play and im thinking about doing a 54/58 set up. I understand you switched and im wondering how you like it/why you switched. Also what distances did u hit the 56/60 compared to the 58/54? Thanks for the help.

Well first off I play off a 47* PW so with no gap wedge I had to really practice with my PW to fill the gap, not that that is a bad thing. I hit my 56 about 105 and could push 110 but it would back up too much and my 60 I hit 90 and could go 95 but again, too much spin. I decided it was time to try a 54/58 set up so I dove right in and traded off my 56/60 set for one. I have gained about 5 yards with each wedge, which closed the gap a little. I can also hit the 54 a little lower than the 56 (at least it seems that way) when I need to cheat the wind. Really I have just found the set up to work much better for me. Hope this helps.

Just got a new shaft for the driver on the way and its one of my favorites. Graphite Design PM 702 Prototype. I am really excited to try this out in this head.
