TM Golf Guy's pre-Wilson WITB - Updated June 1st

Absolutely love the new set up. I've been a closet PING guy for a long time. However, I just can't get past the burnt orange headcovers. PING has really missed it bad on color choices, neon green (Rapture) now burnt orange (G10) :) When I get my G10 Driver I'm buying one of those black headcovers on the PING website, and then pick one up for my fairway wood. I wish the insert in the G10's were different color, but you can't have everything. My only wish is for PING to pick a primary color like RED or something.

Oh damn. Anyway thats a sick bag, how are you likin the CUSHINs?

 

The CUSHIN inserts are really nice. They make the Z-Z65's nearly the same weight as DG shafts, which I like. I don't know if I really notice too much difference in the CUSHIN vs. the non CUSHIN, but I haven't hit the i10's without CUSHIN's to many times.

I have never been much of a PING fan until now. I didn't care for most of the previous models, and I hated the drivers.

 

I didn't care for the orange at first either, but I have gotten used to it. I guess it has grown on me a little, which is odd because I hate t.u.

Two; you said you got pink MCCs really cheap, any chance you could pass on how to get MCCs cheap, 'cause I really want to regrip my clubs with them, but they're crazy 'spensive.

I got the grips from an Edwin Watts that had had the pink ones for a while and they wanted to get rid of them. I don't care what color they are, they work well.

I'll let you know when my Sonartec arrives. I had one in a Nike T60, but I didn't quite launch the 13° head high enough.

looking at your bag is like looking at my bag. i've got almost all the same clubs, and the ones I don't have I'm getting for my b-day in a few weeks.

 

I've even got the same driver, down to the shaft.

I love my i10s, and I've only played 3-4 rounds with them.

 

I'm getting the Ping Lattitute stand bag in white and atomic orange for my b-day. I'm going to quote some other members on this forum, "just say no to staff bags."

LOL. You crack me up. I haven't been gaming it lately, but I don't think anyone would want a putter with my initials on the toe.

 

GS Tour's added. A little rain on them as there is a tropical storm over head right now.

 

I will have a new driver before the week is over, and pictures will be up as soon as it shows up.

I was off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of last week, and of course it rained all 3 days. I will make time to hit it this week sometime between classes starting back up, and work.

 

The GS Tours are awesome. I bought the 5 wood just for the heck of it, but I actually really like it. The 3 wood is easy to work, and it goes too. I think you will enjoy yours.

Nice, nice looking bag. I'm a Tm guy, and really don't care for the Ping stuff, but thats a nice set up indeed. Great bag.

 

For the guy asking about grips.. if you don't care what color, sometimes you can get a deal. Red and Blue are popular, so they rarely get on "sale".

 

I got some yellow/black on sale for like 4 bucks a pop for my wedges a while back.. for whatever reason..

 

I've also got a set of white/black mcc's ordered to show up around Christmas for my smoke mb tp's.

FATCITY, Thanks for the comments. I'm with you on the MC grips. I will play any color. I have an orange one on a driver, yellow on a hybrid, pink on my irons, red on my fairways, and light blue on my wedges. When the white ones come out, I will probably exclusively use those.
