Kiyoshi Gold vs. White Tie

Guys,

looking for some advice/opinions -

I have a 110-113 swing speed and have been playing the White Tie X in my BiO+ driver. was told the Kiyoshi Gold could bring my spin down some while keeping the same hieght so i picked one up in a 04 (stiff) flex.

thoughts -

think i'll be able to get my spin down by 300-500 RPMs?

how will my ballflight change (if at all)?

will the OBAN play stiff to flex?

if it doesn't, think i'll have control issues with it being a softer flex?

I play the Kiyoshi Gold in my driver. While my SS is significantly lower than yours (97 last time, though it was 42F), I love the Kiyo gold. In my SLDR 430 it doesn't go very high, more of a mid launch than a high launch for me. I've definitely launched a few up there, but never ran into ballooning issues. Mine is tipped 1/2", and it's honestly the most stable, solid feeling shaft I've hit.

I haven't hit the White Tie, but I can tell you that it was very impressive for me to see 10-15 yards of roll in Upstate New York playing in April when it's 45-50F out.

Rbhan...thanks for your thoughts, i don't have ballooning issues with the WT, i just know if i dropped my spin a touch i could get a couple more yards of carry out of it. the WT/Bio+ combo is certainly long (avg between 285-300 off the tee) i just wanted to see if i could get more out of it, keep dispersion close and see if i could get better feel.

Here I am!!!!!

I was fit into the Kiyoshi Gold with a SLDR 430 12* and it is very nice. I have a ~130 ss, 190 bs, ~2300 spin 320+ carry with it and i would say i have a normal tempo (not fast but not slow) with a stronger transition. Keep in mind that the Kiyoshi Gold was built to mesh with heads such as the BC+, Alpha and SLDR.... Since the SLDR challenge I have hit the Yoshi Gold in the Bio Cell + and the Alpha also.... results were very similar except the Bio Cell + head launched higher for me. The spin was still very low. I have only hit the White tie once and it was a stiff but it felt extremely loose to me in comparison to a stiff gold. The Yoshi Gold should tighten you up a little even with the slightly softer flex. I would suggest tipping it an inch to get it to play slightly more stout if the length allows. Bio Cell + paired with the Kiyoshi Gold should be on everyones radar.
