Back in August I bought a PXG Gen 4 0811X 7.5* driver with the Ventus Red Velocore shaft. The driver fits me so well that I got a 2nd PXG driver! Still a 0811X 7.5* but with Tensei Blue shaft.

I just bought this Vessel/TaylorMade Lite Lux Bag. I thought this was a deal. It was $399(CAD) regular price at Golf Town. On the TM website it is $499. GT had 30% off sale, so it came to $279. I really like the grey!

Just got this and some other goodies like TD fairways to test out, but unfortunately this hurricane thing is putting a damper on my testing plans.

 

I got two of them to check face angle because I like to crank these up to +1/D usually so one will go for sale.

W/ time change, weather change… a need to lose 10-15#, it’s early morning walking season in Florida. Had $60 in DSG rewards (from CS screw-ups)… 2021 Maxfli Air went $89 on “early Black Friday”, or something? It’s not an SM 2.5, and is ugly as sin… but at $30, everything I need and nothing I don’t. 
 

2.7#, 4 FULL-length dividers fitting 14 midsize grips (plus alignment sticks and umbrella). “4.5” pockets (w/ bevy sleeve), zip pocket inside ball pocket, pencil sleeve, rain hood, and D-ring/ attachment points. Impressive stand compared to my 6lb. 13-pocket Mizuno “rucksack.” All in all, pretty well-thought minimalist bag.

 

P.S. Maxfli was selling these and 2022 for $65-85 direct online, 3-4 days ago.

Another manic year but I think I solved  the puzzle. Some new, some not and one downright vintage. Hey, whatever works. All recently acquired.

RTX wedges are versatile, they will stay.

Found the putter today and this was THE magic putter for me in my teens and twenties. Took it home and immediately rolled 30 or so putts. It instantly clicked. We’ll see. This is the third time I’ve done this, but this one looks so much better to my eye than the other redo’s.

Anyway this where I ended up for 2022.
