Looks great!  Were you in New Level before?  I have a 623 CB/MB combo...  Looking at either a 480 full set or TC/MC combo set.  I had the old SPN wedges but these look way different... and improved!  

If you had New Level previous... how do they compare?  I am a huge fan of the company!

Got an Odyssey Metal X #8 for a steal yesterday.

 

Also, I got a few new (to me) Mizuno clubs, MP-52 6 and 7 iron and a MX-23 5 iron to build a combo set with the MP- 37’s I posted here a little while ago.

Never regripped my own golf clubs before but I thought I’d try at least once and if I sucked at it then I can always get someone else to do it. I think they turned out pretty okay, maybe a little askew here and there but they will work for me. Definitely going to try it again in the future when I inevitably get more clubs that need new grips.

I was not in New Level before the 480-TC, however I have hit/tried a lot of their older stuff. 623-CB/MB is still available, so I tried both of those. 480-MC is teeny tiny and I'm not the caliber of ball-striker that could get away with playing those. TC offered a lot more forgiveness, while still retaining the compact, player's iron head size/shape that I like. I also liked (needed) the removable head weight for swing weighting as my clubs are +1" with DG X100 and that combo gets very heavy, fast.

 

New SPN wedges are phenomenal. Old SPN had a very diggy leading edge that I would stick in the ground here in AZ with the tight lies and Bermuda grass that we have in the desert. The new SPN grinds have been softened significantly and now have a very nice turf interaction. I went SS in the 50/54 and VS in the 60.

 

New Level is making unbelievable stuff right now.

Thanks for the feedback!  The MB was surprisingly easy to hit in the P/9...   Maybe I'll go with the TC top to bottom.  Did you get fit there or via email/phone and demo clubs?  I am wondering how to get the weights right as I like a heavier swingweight.

I'm local, so I got fit at the NL HQ. I will say the builder/fitter is VERY knowledgeable on swing weighting. If you know your specs and have an idea what you want, they will be able to give you a pretty accurate swing weight number before it's built on TC because of that tungsten screw weight in the head. I would just email them.

Will do!  Sincerely appreciate all the info.  I am sold on the company and the quality.  I'm excited about the new stuff!  Hit them well!

Decided to give these Vice golf balls a try; folks seem to swear by them. I also like these gloves more than just about any other glove I've used. I never seem to be able to get a grip that feels right with any other glove. These also seem to last a good long time.

I bought two because I wanted to try the Cabretta version.

Of course I had to get the Yellow/Orange Shades.

Bought the 8-PW locally for $75, then added a gen4 demo 6-iron, and adjusted the lofts a tad to give me a four club short set.  
 

Pleasantly surprised how soft these feel, especially the gen4 6-iron.

This past February I was window shopping on eBay for a 5-wood to replace the old one I was using. I came across this, an Adams Tight Lies 2 Spin Control 5-wood. It's in very good condition, and looked like it was hardly used. So I made an offer of $13 and got it for that price. When it came in I was amazed at the condition it was in. Even the grip, a Golf Pride Sofftie was in great shape. All that was wrong was the ferrule was separating from the head, and it was glued in tight, so I cut it off and replaced it with a Golfworks split ferrule. Looking forward to playing it this season!

Only been playing golf for about 5 years-ish and my Grandpa gave me a full set to start me off. This is one of those clubs in that set. I have since moved on from that starter set (as evident by my posts in this very thread) but I still take this club out every once in a while. It’s hard to beat Adam’s clubs in my opinion. Sure there might be nicer, longer clubs, but something about those Adam’s clubs just feels so good.

 

I still game an XTD TI driver I got off of eBay a couple years ago.

Here's another item I picked up not long ago. Lately I've been working on my swing tempo, which at present is 24/8, but I'm looking to eventually increase it to 21/7, which is the tempo of most touring pros. The problem I'm having is that I live in a small apartment in a senior housing community, so I can't swing anything longer than a 9-iron. So I looked on Amazon for something that I could swing in my living room without fear of destroying furniture. I found this, a golf grip and swing trainer. It's about 26 inches long, and it has a weight port at the end of the shaft, along with a training grip. Perfect for swinging in tight spaces!
