I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this same pair…have never owned any G4’s. Everybody talks about the comfort but im

I’m not sure they will ever replicate the awesomeness of the T100s, so grabbed a new set before they were gone.

I bought two shafts (one still curing after the first epoxy job was botched). Before I decided to take a short golf break to finish my garage, I wanted to try steel shafts in my hybrid whilst upping the weight. I bought this Nippon N.S. Pro Modus 3 Tour 105 S, and then a DG 105 X100.

The DG is going into a PXG adapter, whilst the Nippon here went into the Adams Super Hybrid here for testing.

 

Taking a few test swings out back, the PXG head started slipping since I apparently got a bad epoxy mix. Redid the job and it is curing now. The Nippon has a nice feel to it in the Adams head. It neutralizes some of the weight of the head and has good balance. I felt the same about the DG up until I realized I needed to stop. 😄 

When I get back at it later this spring, it'll be interesting to see how this works.

P-DHY straight from TM. Came with the Adila Ascent Black 100HY as they could ship it the fastest. Seems to have been the stock shaft in the previous Stealth DHY. Tempted to give it a few hits, but it’s off to get built with a few different shafts cut to length.

 

Likely going to end up with an RDX Red, but also want to test with an Axiom (it’s a bit of a disease). Anyone have recommendations for non big box stores in San Diego area for getting some work done? I’ve found one in Del Mar I’m okay with for swapping out some already built shafts or doing loft/lie adjustments, but not too sure about more than that. I know I can find plenty in Carlsbad, but I’m more south of the city and inland right now. I’ve got a couple of things I’d like to really tinker with, but sending clubs back and forth between SoCal and FL or Mid West isn’t great for cycling through feedback 😝

Inspired by posts about the latest tour proto from Taylormade, was able to get a NOS 3-pw set of these with conforming grooves from a great player and friend. Got built up by Continental Golf with Nippon Modus 120 stiff shafts, red NDMC grips and BB&F co ferrules.

This is the third set of these Wilson Staff CB’s I’ve owned, maybe I’ll keep them this time.  Probably gonna have them reshafted as the DG S300’s aren’t a great fit for me.  Also have a set of the V6 irons I’ve been playing.  This set popped up on Maple Hill’s website on clearance plus 15% off that.  Couldn’t refuse.

Great set of irons!  I ordered a set of these from TSG back in the day.  Enjoy them!

Really happy with the Gen 4 T irons from PXG. Compare to TM P770 but imo better feel and more playable sole. Probably a little shorter in the long irons and ball flight not as high, but I'll accept those trade-offs. DG120 X is a great fit for me too. All that and custom grip for a "friendly" price new from PXG.
