As I understand it and in my experience, purchases under $800 incur no added import tax expense.  Seller shipping was included in this purchase.  I've spend up to $750 and haven't hit the extra fees yet. Welcome to the rabbit hole.  🤣

Here's what $60 will get you on Yahoo Auctions Japan (with another $40 as its portion of my package's overall shipping fee)

 

Bought these for a friend, pulled the s200's that came in them already.

 

Edit: sold the s200's for $80, result was $20 net for a 3-pw set of forged cavity back heads.

Been loving my New Levels. This is my DTC bag that I game. 408TC combo with the MB and DB 5 iron. Along with the SPN wedges. Which are all excellent!

Been trying to find the right fit in the 4-iron/Driving Iron spot since I started playing Golf in 2020.

 

I considered the Titleist U500 and U510 before, but apparently this U505 is supposed to be the best of both worlds.

 

We’ll see…looking forward to testing it out!

Had the phantom 12.5 to start the year but just found it a little big, but loved the mild toe hang.  Cleared a few things out this afternoon on one of these bad boys!  Bag is so close to being set for the forseable future too... I said it so it has to be true!

Any idea where it swing weights?  Had one of the previous gen and it was way too light.

Since you are a ZX guy, I'm looking forward to further reports on your U505.  I've been using the ZX4 4 iron with the KBS Tour Lite 100g Stiff and have been quite impressed so far.  But the U505 might be a whole different animal.

Good question. I just did a search, and I couldn't find the swingweight posted for the U505's anywhere.

 

And I don't know how to measure swingweight.

 

All I can say is that it doesn't feel light to me...the club definitely has a nice weight to it when I hold it and waggle it. But that is obviously subjective, and I haven't gotten to hit it yet.

Yeah man, time will tell and I'm looking forward to hitting the U505!!

 

I have owned a ZX utility 3-iron, ZX 4-iron, ZX4 4-iron, and ZX5 4-iron, so have definitely been doing my due diligence and testing every option possible. We'll see!

I don’t mind it since I’m not a super fast swing speed guy and prefer shafts on the lighter side. But high S.S. guys would probably want to order heavier and stiffer shafts than the stock Hzrdus Smoke Black RDX.

I have the U505 in a 1 iron build (for super windy days, tight courses, etc) and I have a very fast/aggressive swing. I went with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI Hybrid shaft, 95x and that was the perfect combo for me due to the lighter feeling head.

Very interesting.

 

Well, my new U505 is in the shop getting a 1” extension and a Midsize grip, so we’ll see how it feels after that.

 

I have different versions of Hzrdus shafts in my Driver and 3W also, so that is the profile of shaft I’m comfortable with.

 

Gotta use what works best for your game!

Are you hoping it goes one way more than the other??? I had a 300 mini and loved it but couldn’t hit it off the deck at all but off the tee I loved it…loved the sound too. Curious to see how this shakes out for you! Good luck!

Im not hoping one way or another, and had the BRNR Mini previously.  I’m happy with it, and I knew the Callaway would be very limited production.  This allows me to try it relatively free.

This is purely a driver replacement for me, I will probably very rarely/never hit it from the deck.

 

Ill post findings from the range and a round on Sunday.
