Epoxied them yesterday.  Bridgestone J33 combo set.  3-5 share a design, then 6-7 are a bit different, then 8-PW are more bladey. 
 

Assistant club builder Tux was unimpressed.  He’s more of an old school MacGregor guy.

JPX Tours are great. Have a 921 SEL set as my backup, which is Tour, but for lefties... unfortunately only till 6 iron and then they threw a joke Forged as the 5 iron.

 

What made you choose Tour over the Pro S-3s or the Pro 421 blades? My experience is that Tour feels almost like a blade, but lacks a bit in accuracy.

 It was actually a pretty close race between these, the 241s, and the Wilson Staff MB and CB.

 

It really came down to remembering my last set of irons I genuinely liked, which were Mizuno players’ CBs (MP 30).  The S3 would have been a fine option, but were $900 more for 4-PW than the 923.

Terrible picture but after going back to hit these irons 4 times, I couldn't resist and so far don't have a single regret. 

The forgiveness is REAL and in such an appealing package looks wise I am beyond impressed. Excellent turf interaction, soft out of the middle and a little less so when not so you know when you miss. Coming from T150s 5-PW and T200 4i which I honestly loved and played great golf with them. Bent irons to basically match the T150 lofts and am finding the short irons to be super accurate and plenty of height on the long irons into greens.

Can you see the black line?  Feel a white line would help more?  but again that's all personal preference

Yes, you can see it well in real life. I've thought about it being a white line and I think I prefer the black line as the whole thing is dark and deep hued. Besides, I mainly use the "negative space" on fang putters as my alignment guide more than a line or dot.

Purchased Thursday, left Japan Friday, arrived just after lunch today.  Tourstage X-Blade 703 Forged.  Love the detailing in the cavity.  Tux was more enthusiastic about these, he's a big fan of JDM.

I was just lucky enough to have bargain-hunted some of the gear.

 

Love the finish on the irons - assuming it looks similar to the finish on my JPX 923 Tour.

Irons and fairway were due for an upgrade. Driver and driving iron you could argue were not but was something I had funds set aside for and wanted to mess around with.

 

Irons are sweet, def very similar if not the same as the JPX Tours finish wise. Higher launching and slightly more forgiving than my MP18s before

So far so good! I've got about 8 rounds under my belt and have no regrets. The first two rounds were definitely a getting to know you period but it's been smooth sailing since.

The Titleist rep who sent in my order from the shop said he hadn't seen a set up like that with the GT1 yet. Found that interesting

How do these feel? I love my 2018 Apex MBs. Struggle with the looks of the weight port on this model but curious if the added mass behind the sweet spot improves feel.

Not new and "purchased" for a couple a beers but I have a driver in the bag again (after having lost faith in them many times over):

A good old R15. Set to 11 degrees which closes the face and helps with my right miss and keeps it in play more. Was playing a 14 degree, short-shafted driver before and hit that so well that I thought I might try a real driver again. Bad days still bad days but the higher loft setting and better swing makes me more confident about it staying in the bag.

I’ve never had the chance to hit the 18 MBs so can’t compare directly but these got a solid and firm feel to it.
