early 90s and went to a few games; Padres and Chargers.

I was even more shocked when I heard the news about Junior

You should probably get out of your bubble more then. There are 3 black guys on my crew alone that dip and countless others around here that do it as well. Now, this is the Deep South so things are sort of twilight zone-ier but still, I lived in Cleveland, OH, Ft. Worth, TX, plus extensive cross country travel. Dippers tend to notice other dippers, at least I do anyways. The chaw is not prejudiced, I can ASSURE you of that...

My close buddy, who is Asian, dips. He started dipping to quit smoking (horribly flawed logic), now he does both.

Nothing like a good pinch on the course. Then again, there isn't much better than a good pinch anywhere. Most of us at the department can be seen walking around with a lipper in all day.
