New Lunar Controls...any news?

The first 2 iterations had some style and function to them. Those look like extremely low end, cheap tennis shoes.

 

I have to see in person, but I agree, does look cheap. Good thing I saw this at Dick's. Good price for a colorway I thought wouldn't be drastically on sale.

They look much better in person. I have seen all the color ways as well. We were told by the rep during the presentation that that Rory had a lot of say about the design the new lunar control. Having held them and seen them, the technology is better with carbon fiber inserts in the foot bed and a better sole than the current plastic sole in the LC2 and additional spikes to help with traction. I didn't like the LC2 that much so my opinion is that the new shoe is better.

I don't know why, every time i see those Lunar Control 3's on page 1. They all remind of some models of the Roger Federer shoes.

 

I have to stock up on Lunar Control 2's while I still can.

Always had LCs both 1 and 2, tried on a pair of Adidas Pure 360s, comfiest thing i have ever put my foot in, not to keen on the LC 3s so Pure 360s for me now...

Just saw the new LC3s and I must say they look way better in person. Very cool tech involved.

The new Waverly looks good as well. No news on the TW15 yet. It comes out in March. Tiger will be in them in Nov.

Not the biggest fan of the LC3. I'm a little surprised that there is no traditional golf shoe in the entire 2015 Nike Golf shoe catalog. Everything is pretty much a sneaker.

The LC3 is being called the Rory shoe. I was told that Rory likes a firmer sole and the LC2 was "too mushy" for him. Hence the new lower to the ground and firmer soled shoe.

These look like a beefed up Ascend. I like the lower profile a lot. They need more colors or the Nike id option tho.
