Wow, pretty similar aren’t they? Very cool.

Thanks @_the_crook.

The paint fill on the Halleys are one of my favourites, it's not too clear in the picture but they're gold and green with matching ferrules.

There's no evidence of paint fill on the Norrie Thomsons but the heads are exactly the same as the Halleys apart from the stampings.

It's not all about the score.

Very nice find Richard. I am really enjoying my 1958 Dyna-Powered irons. Those 1960’s should look good once cleaned up.

I’m switching between an old Ping Anser and a Ping CU5 at the moment.

Yeah, the old Dyna-Powered irons do bring a few bucks. I probably over paid a bit for mine at $225 shipped but they are in great original shape, have all the shaft bands intact, as well as the original leather grips. The seller also bent them 2* up for me, so all-in-all I thought it was a good deal.

here as well - they even remarked the older ones sitting in the rack.

add a new grip and you've got a ten buck stick.

Haha, no. I have access to a small course equipment shed. An older gentleman stopped playing and dropped off 7 sets of Ping irons. I got first dibs and took these 3. There were 2 sets of Ping i3 OS and 2 sets of G2's I believe that I left. I'll probably keep the Eye 2 set and move the ISI sets after I play them once. I've never hit a ball with any ISI iron ever.

Wow, green dot ISI. Well done. And a memory trigger....

It's kind of odd, considering my long term Ram Tour Grind habit, but I've always had a thing for ISI. And green is my color code; a set showed up here in BST a few years ago, and I had to jump on them.

I've never hit the ISI head. I'll probably go out tomorrow and hit a bucket with all of them. I recently sold my 1-LW set of Eye 2 BECU irons to fund a different purchase. Who knows, maybe I'll end up liking them all too much to part with.

Yes, both green dots. The Becu are 3-W,W2,S. The S or W2 is an added blue dot - zz65. The BeNi are 3-S with Graffaloy Attack Lite shafts. Both have those tan Winn grips that flake off when worn. I hate those squishy grips. The Eye 2 are Blue dot, ZZ-lite, 3-LW (LW eye 2+), nice Ping standard Velvet style grips. I'm keeping those for sure

I think it’s time to quit this nonsense of acquiring a boatload of golf clubs. All this started for me just looking for a cheap set of shafts for a set of ping irons. I’ve got enough invested that I could have sent several sets to be reshafted.q

. Need to spend the rest of my time playing golf.

BTW what is “markdown” that I can use in my post? Says under this panel.

So frustrating can’t post pictures from my phone

The text under the panel in which you write you post contains a link to the Wikipedia page on Markdown (hover your mouse cursor over the word "Markdown"). I clicked the link and began reading the Wikipedia page. I think I made it through the first two lines before my eyes glazed over.

So the answer is, "Sorry, I can't help you, but I wish I could."

Took a quick look....

It's a formatting language that you can use on posts. It's designed to be easier to read when you see it in a post, compared to something like what you'd see if you were using HTML to format your post.

Nice. I’ve owned three sets of ISI’s, a steel set, a becu set, and a set of ISI-K’s.

I wish one of your sets had JZ shafts, we’d have to talk about a deal if they did. ?

I had ZZ Lite shafts in my becu set and they just didn’t work for me like the JZ’s in the steel head set.

What are the flex of the graphite shafts in the Beni?
