Woods with the most "cushioned" feel.

I''m looking for suggestions for woods to try with a soft feel off the face. Drivers and fairways. Please feel free to go on at length and try to describe the sound. Thanks!

Try the Cobra Amp Cell Pro driver, to me the softest feel at impact. I love that feel, the Optiforce 440 when hit in the center was similar.

I agree with person above me...in general Cobra and Callaway drivers have the "softer" feeling faces. Sound wise Callaway is more muted in my opinion than cobra but can't go wrong with either or.

Fairways have to say TEE CB series, any of them. Solid sound and feels like hitting a foam ball at impact. Drivers a tougher call, to each his own on that but isnt that any club?

Feel is pretty subjective. In my experience, changing a shaft can significantly change the feel of impact with a fairway wood head. Best bet is to find out what you like by trying a bunch. Outside preferably, so you don't get any weird indoor acoustics.

I have no idea how to describe feel but from comments of the guys I play with my ZL Encore is like no other driver on the market. Im not a club ho but like to keep up with what is going on...I switched from the Amp Cell to the ZL, not common to hear people going backwards in driver technology. Cobra did hit a homerun with the Amp Cell but the ZL Encore was their Grand Slam...

Demoed the Covert 2.0 - it has the most cushiony feel in a driver and great sound (or lack of it).

The Callaways are very cushiony; also found some Pings I've demoed that have a soft feel off the face.

The 910D3 paired with a tour issue 7A3 feels like the ball is hitting a stick of butter, even when using Bridgestone B330's. I felt like of the fairways I've used, the 910Fd was also in that same butter smooth impact feeling, but did not perform as good as the TEE CB4 Tour.

I'd say g25 three wood feels softest to me when hit on the screws. G30 feels more harsh. Bio cell and 913are also softer feeling
