Final Drops before going out to the bay.

 

Items I tried and didn’t make the cut sale and some older standbys.

 

All items include USPS shipping in CONUS only. Paypal only.

I’ve put a rating on them, but since everyone rates their clubs differently, look at the pictures and make your own decision. All clubs RH.

 

Only trade interest would be a set of RH Ping S55 Yellow or Green dot, 5-PW stiff shaft irons. If they are .5” over that would be a bonus. I can add to a deal to make up the difference on the right set of irons.

 

Here we go, follow along closely.

 

SOLD - Ping G25 15 deg three wood. – 42.75” Aldila VooDoo stiff shaft. Lamkin Midsize grip, decent. Includes head cover. 8.5/10

 

 

 

Ping i20 irons - 5-U wedge, C-tapers 120 stiff shafts. The 5-pw are soft stepped once and are .5” over Ping standard, 38.25” 5 iron. The U wedge has not been soft stepped and is standard Ping length from the factory. I found these and had the set makeup verified by Ping to make sure of the authenticity and specs, and bought them. I then sent them in to Ping and had them inspect loft, lie etc.. and adjust them to Ping green dot specs with standard lofts. While waiting for the clubs to return I bought a 4-iron c-taper shaft. When I got them back I immediately pulled the shafts and soft stepped them as recommended by KBS for these shafts, which resulted in my desired .5” over Ping standard length. I will include the original PW shaft in case you want to return these to the original straight-in configuration like they came from Ping. I just installed new Lamkin midsize velvet type grips on all, except the u wedge, it has a Golf Pride grip in very good shape. After all that they didn’t work as well as my S56’s with the KBS tour shafts, so either the c-tapers don’t work for me or the i20 irons, either way they are outta here. Very nice set of i20s. 8/10

Update - Ping i3+ Blade iron heads, 3-PW, Blue dot – good shape for their age, lots of life left. 7/10??

 

Someone pointed out that the 3iron looked like a regular i3+ head, so I checked the irons and have corrected the specs. It had been so long since I bought them I had forgotten. Thanks.

 

The 3-6 heads are regular i3+, Ser# 27938R

The 7-9 heads are i3+ blade, Ser#27939R

PW, i3+ Blade and is Black dot, Ser#133319R

Ping MB Wedges, 52 and 56, shafted with Rifle Spinner shafts, 36”; and 48 & 60, not shafted. All in good condition, 52 = 8/10 and 56 = 7.5/10.

Yep, they served me well for 4 or 5 years, kept thinking I might play them again, and then decided I could use the money more than I could the dust that was collecting on them.

It is only 5-UW, the irons are soft stepped. 4i shaft in the 5i head, down thru the PW.
