they dont like you would be my guess. haha just kidding . in all seriousness they pull ads that are missing key info. such as pictures pricing or other things. I would look at the rules for posting for sale ads and see if anything jumps out at you.

Not sure what your listing was, but if it was for 13 grips they sell as a lot, not individually..

been doin this along time boys. I've followed the rules. All previous ads have been closed for some time. The grips were being sold as a set. It would be nice to get notified if an ad was going to be pulled. Some times errors are made and can be corrected. I've had ads pulled before because assumptions were made by the mods.
Still waiting for an answer.

Your ad stated 14 grips $10 each from Callaway, $120 for the set. That is not 10 items or being sold as a set since a set is 13.

You will have much better luck on ebay or probably other sites with less rule restrictions. Here are the rules again:

[u]LISTING RULES[/u][list]
[*]The BST is for personal use only. Items may not be listed for your business or “for a friend”.
[*]Listed items must be golf related. For example, watches, jewelry, cell phones and electronics (excluding range finders and dedicated golf GPS devices) are not considered “golf related”.
[*]All items must include a sale price, including items listed “For Trade”.
[*]All items must include in-hand photographs that clearly show the items being listed. Small or blurry images in your Listing may cause it to be removed without warning. Also, because it is impossible to tell if an Ebay picture is original, no watermarked images from Ebay or similar type hosting services is allowed. If wanting to use those services, then please post a picture with your username visible with the item.
[*]Members are allowed ONE open listing with a maximum of 10 items. All individual items count as one “item” – selling in lots is not permitted. The only recognized exceptions are:
a. Matched iron sets up to 10 irons – wedges, even when sold as a set, count as individual items;
b. Matched grip sets up to 13 grips - only ONE GRIP SET allowed PER LISTING;
c. Matched sets of iron shaft pulls up to 10 shafts;
d. Golf balls in original packaging (Dozen or 15-pack = one item per pack) – balls sold as individual sleeves count as one item per sleeve. Loose lots of golf balls (used or new) are not allowed.
[*]No item may be relisted within 30 days of being previously listed.
[*]Members are entitled to only one listing per 24 hour period and must wait 24hrs from closing an Ad to list another. (i.e. no listing of an item(24hr starts from closure, not posting), selling it, closing the listing and starting a brand new one a few hours later).
[*]Pullouts - please remove grip to make sure the shaft is not plugged or extended. Measure accurately. Provide tipping information if known.
[*]No selling of new uninstalled shafts.
[*]Equipment – listing must state whether original or altered. This applies to all equipment and all processes (refinished, reshafted, lie angles adjusted, etc.).
[*]No selling of items won through GolfWRX Offerings, Contests or Testings.
[*]No unauthorized commercial postings, bulk selling, or liquidations of inventory. Please contact Gxgolfer if needing more clarification.
[*]No negative comments regarding sellers’ asking prices.
[*]No advertising of "Gifting" or other means to circumvent payment service fees.

Part of me thinks that the grip rule could be amended, especially as many have multiple clubs rotating in and out of the bag depending on the course being played. I know I typically purchase about 16 grips when re-gripping to allow for alternate wedges, woods, or hybrids to be regripped as well ....... just my .02.

Unfortunately, we simply do not have the time to send a personal PM to every user who finds themselves running astray of the BST rules.

Some onus has to be on the users to read and understand the rules prior to posting in the BST. The grip rule is [u]very clearly[/u] spelled out, you are allowed one set of 13 grips per listing - that is it.

Answer would have been the same. BST rules were created by the membership and moderated by the membership. Lots of ads comply and lots of ads are reported.

It may have taken you 10 seconds to post, but then you would not see the 3 to 5 exchanges of repeatedly defending a decision or trying to explain to someone for the "x" time why they violated the same rule multiple times. That's not even counting the responses that are straight out abusive when trying to help. It's a no win either way so zero tolerance is enforced.

Not that the answer would be different but possibly the approach. Moderator do no willy nilly pull post etc. there is a reason and the never tell I what it is. That is up to you that's all.
