Hey guys, I am interested in getting more of our south bay members out and golfing. If anybody has any ideas about tournaments, or even putting a foursome together to try out a new course, post it here. I am located in San Jose but will travel from San Francisco all the way to the Monterey area including Pebble Beach of course. I can play during the week since I have an open schedule. Just give me a holler and lets tee it up. Thanks Lowell

I always have a couple days during the week that I can play. Let me know. I am planning on playing friday if anybody is interested. Usually I tee off after 9 unless otherwise planned

OK, I'll bite. I'm a bit out of the way in Vacaville, but my wife enjoys an overnight trip... especially to Monterey.

Maybe Poppy Hills and Bayonet (or Blackhorse) during the week. I prefer morning play, white tees, and afternoon naps. You know how it is with old folks.

New to Cali and I was told I live in South Bay which is south of downtown San Diego (national city/Chula Vista/imperial beach). This state is too damn big.

[/quote]I agree the state is too damn big. But you're actually in Southern California, I guess they have a South Bay there also. This South Bay board is centered around Silicon Valley/San Jose area. Im sure there's a board for San Diego golfers.

I've lived here for about a year now and have been getting back into playing golf regularly...Been playing Shoreline a lot after work because it's so cheap ($10 as a resident).

But I would love to have some decent players to go out with, sometimes randoms can be pretty awful to play with.

I have not played Cinnebar yet but hear it's great, I'd also like to play Cyote Creek sometime soon, it looks great from the highway. I can drive, I'd like to play some more courses down by Monteray, if anyone wants to try and book a teem time sometime just let me know!
