I ordered these with a bunch of stuff planning to flip them since I had a 50% off code. Took them out of the box and was immediately impressed by the look of the heads. I couldn't help but hit them and they're now in the bag. They feel great, numbers awesome and distance on par with Apex which are 2* stronger lofts. Rsi launch higher and spin is on the low side but not as low as Apex.

Forgiveness is also on par with Apex but in a much more appealing looking head!

 

People are going to be surprised by these. A sleeper for TM here. FYI - I'm the furthest thing from a TM fanboy, at least until these babies.

Haha. Thanks. This is the first TM iton I've tried since Rockebladez so can't compare to mc etc. The face slots seam to be legit, not just marketing bs. Mishits do carry and dispersion was fantastic.

I have the RSI TP irons in the bag right now. I've read a lot of discontent with these irons but I think it's mostly with the sound with admittedly is pretty loud for a forged/plasma welded/ cast iron hybrid iron. Performance thus far is fantastic though. It's a shame more people don't give it more of a chance past a few swings.

I have the RSI TP irons and like most of the Taylormade slotted type irons they do have a different sound at impact.
However, they produce results and feel solid.
Sometimes new technology brings with it a different look, sound and feel, but yet produces.

[b]FWIW, of the TM Tour Preferred offerings the past 4 years, I think the 2011 Tour Preferred MC's are actually the best feeling set and offer outstanding performance as well. My set of 2011 TP MC's came with Dynamic Gold XP S300's at 1/2" over standard length... (5-iron = 38.25"). The XP S300 shafts feel so much better than the DG S300's, and add some distance as well. Seams like people just regurgitate what Mark Crossfield and Rick Shields tell them in those 3 minute YouTube reviews. They sound like any other forged club to me and feel just as good.
