Given the immense popularity of the rory 006 thread, I hereby start the request for a limited edition release of the Spieth 009 from cameron, particularly if he gets it done today. Seems only fair.

The Inspired By Rory McIlroy was basically a 009 head. The same thing? No, but pretty darn close.

Lets just hope its not an "Inspired by" putter, that is the kiss of death for a career, look at anyone who used a Scotty and then an Inspired by model was released, they stopped using said model and fell off the map.

Spieth has the hottest putter on tour right now, and just won the Masters... He's rolling his Scotty Cameron like a magician with a wand. His putting is absolutely incredible.

The 009 came BEFORE the Nike 006, just like the Anser with the entire Phoenix address stamped on cast..not just last the three digits of the zip code came before that....Scotty just made his with better materials and detailed craftsmanship with new technology than old cast ansers, otherwise they're pretty much the same and Anser was THE original. Nike... Lol.. From what I've read here on WRX buy/sell obsession... there are a lot of rory putters going up for sale and 009 Scottys will get even crazier after Jordan Spieths thrashing at the Masters...

To be clear, yes, I am aware that the Spieth 009 is just a normal 009 with a sight line (not dot!) in the top line. I was thinking more along the lines of the inspired by rory with I think is also an 009 but more conventional retail milling, but in the 009 head, which is the key.

Don't remember how much the inspired by rory was, but to me, an LE Cameron 009 head would be a good deal at 1k. For what it's worth, I think I'd probably do an LE Rory 006 for that price, but I am starting to give up on that dream.

I saw on the other thread where a member got one for $450 sight unseen. If it is the Rory 006, that would be a no brainer, but I fear at that price point, it is going to be considerably distinct from what Rory actually plays.
