Anyone know what a Damascus DD201 goes for from Lajosi? I have a putter build that's been prepaid but I haven't been able to get in contact with Kari for about a week, but it was Christmas and all so not worried about that.

Thanks Chris - I had a California Del Mar that I liked and putted well with, but couldn't get past the sightline. This is the perfect version of that style putter for me. I prefer a clean look and the satin with blue paint fill looks great to my eye. I've got something else in the works with Kari as well...

Ordered my DD201 in gunmetal finish 303ss deep milled over Christmas. Just finalising the details now. Thinking i might make a last minute change to carbon in black satin.Kari has been excellent to deal with. Great patience for all my questions. Really looking forward to getting it.

Been able to use it yet mate? Mine is one pag 3 here - DD201 WB - the long round pipe almost takes on a swan neck appearance like yours.

We had 22 inches of snow and winter golf is usually a no go here.l so I haven't had it out on the greens. That said, it's unseasonably warm here this week, 55F, 58F, and 60F Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm trying my darnedest to get out.

 

I am going to swap to grip out though. Not a huge fan of pistol grips although the lajosi gripmaster is beautiful. I have a flatso 2.0 countercore I got to put on it.

This is my mid-mallet Lajosi Proto......made in 2007 and was used as a demo putter at the '07 Australian Masters......simple putter, but I love this putter and play with it often........this was also a time when Kari hand fed the putters through the milling process, which he stopped a few years later

My Lajosi experience was enhanced by the fact that Kari hand delivered my putter and joined me for a round last year at Huntingdale GC, which has a lot of Australian Masters history.

 

And he was a pretty handy golfer off single figures as well. He's a bit camera shy but I thought it was about time I posted these pics (including a beer after the round). He'll get over it.

Nice pics Gav. Going to be ordering my first Lajosi soon, just working on the detail. I'm itching to get it ordered but want to make sure it's perfect. I know if I get the detail perfect, Kari will make it perfectly. I'm sure it won't be my last one either.
