He's got a few workbench putters posted, just picked up a GSS sensor. The pics look fantastic and I'm super pumped. Not a custom, but can't wait

Those GSS Sensors were priced very well. I'm glad he has some LH putters too, if they had a flow or slant neck I would have added one to my order.

I thought about picking up the GSS sensor, looks great and fits my eye! Enjoy it man he makes some awesome stuff and reasonable prices imo

I had been considering a custom one, and TBH it would have been kinda similar. Love the simplicity, and the pricing.

You got a deal buying a workbench. You can easily price out a GSS on the custom creator. So I'd say you definitely scored a nice putter despite not knowing which GSS one is was. They're all nice.

I have built putters on the creator, quite a few times. One of the reasons why I was so quick in pulling the trigger was the price differential.  I grabbed the one with the rolled top line, single sight dot, and fine milling. I don't think I've ever been so excited for a putter purchase in my life....that look at address is perfection. Any thoughts on gripmaster grips? I dont have any experience with those but my current putter has a GP tour snsr straight. I love the shape and feel but the coloring is disgusting. As such it wont be going on this one.  Ive got big hands so I gravitate towards oversized grips, but don't really like the superstroke shape as its a bit too boxy.

Grabbed a pair of beauties from the site in recent weeks—a flow neck Sensor and the pictured slant neck DD201, which just arrived today. Both are magnificent. If I (let’s be honest—WHEN I) order another custom it’ll definitely be a Lajosi.

Very nice, I saw that putter and definitely think I'm going to do my DD201 with that neck, I may do 2 of them, it's a really nice Anser shape.

Totally agree. His work keeps getting better and better. I recently picked up a tour and widebody Sensor. I also own/game a copper insert regular Sensor and I just can’t seem to take it out of the bag, so I haven’t been able to try the other two models out yet…had 26 and 27 putts with it the last two days. The thing is just flat out working for me right now.

I just received my sensor...and I really think Kari (is it okay to call him by his first name if we haven't met?) needs a professional photographer. This putter is drop dead gorgeous...its sitting in my office with me and I keep on giving it the side eye with a wink..."hey, sup girl, you want to hit some balls into holes"..."yeah sexy I know you like that"....my pics are attached.

I'm looking for advice on the difference between the v-groove face and Lajosi's deep milling.  I'm trying to decide between the two for a custom.  From what I've read the v-groove is supposed to be a bit more firm feeling than the deep mill.  Just wanted to see if anyone has both and can give their opinion.  Thanks!

Just saw you're in Toronto! Im from WNY (just south of Buffalo) but I live near Boston, MA in "enemy" territory. If you happen to cross the boarder (or we can meet somewhere halfway) around the end of May or early July (that's when I'm typically in the area besides x-mas) we should play a round.

If the borders are open then sure, not hard for me to drive across. We can show off our Lajosi putters lol.

These are the three face millings I have. I don’t think the copper insert one is the deep milling; it’s the standard. The all copper-plated one has the serrated v grooves and they are pretty darn soft. I also have a carbon DD201 with the v grooves and it is very soft. I swear the serrated v grooves put a tighter more immediate roll on the ball, but I have no way of proving it. The regular face milling is about average feeling for a milled putter - it’s in between firm and soft; probably leaning a little towards the firm end of the spectrum. The true spiral is flat faced and is very firm. I have heard his standard deep milling is pretty soft, but I’ve never tried it out. I know it doesn’t answer your exact question, but hopefully this helps you out a little bit.

Nice!  What's the face mill on that one?

This is the fine milling. As far as feel, it seems to on the firmer side yet still feels great when you hit it in the middle. When hit of center there is a audible click and you can definitely feel it in your hands. Compared to my raw soft carbon Betti with honeycomb milling, the lajosi feels a smidge softer, but both are very responsive in a good way.

What are people's experiences with ordering from Kari?

 

I sent in my spec sheet, received a quote and paid for it and haven't heard anything since.

 

Am I meant to hear something sometime soon?
