So right! The tan leather EP Lajosi covers are dynamite. I was wondering who bought this beauty. Now I know. It’s just unreal.

Anyone ever buy the KLP33 model from Kari? I noticed this model after doing a deep dive on his Instagram page. I've always found that shape interesting and seeing as TP Mills doesn't make the Fleetwood in LH and Piretti said the Matera would be in LH very soon (which was 3 years ago) I don't have many other options. Kari would be the cheapest option to mill this for me but have to see if he still makes it or can make it in LH. 

 

If not maybe a DD201 flow neck.

Is the V Groove similar to an Evnroll groove pattern? I can't find much info about how the different millings feel.

The v grooves are pretty soft, especially the serrated v grooves. The one below is just regular v grooves. It’s not variable thickness like the evnroll, rather just parallel. I’m planning to sell this Sensor soon if you’re interested.

Is this what you’re talking about? I’ve been interested as well as a lefty that would own a fleetwood and/or matera if they were available. Let me know if you end up contacting Kari & he can do a few lefties.

Yup that's the one, I have no idea if it will work for me or not I just like the shape and Kari would be the cheapest to try. I haven't contacted him about it yet, I don't want to buy it if he says he can make it cause I'd have no will power on this one. But I will soon-ish.

Do you think it rolls better with these grooves? I've only ever had smooth or fine milling on putters so I'm reluctant to order these grooves sight unseen.

The v groove gold one is the softest and absorbs the most energy; like the ball momentarily “sticks” to the grooves then propels it forward. It’s a lot like Bettinardi’s 2019 fit face, if you’ve ever tried that out. It feels like it makes the ball turn into an immediate roll on the turf quicker than a flat face, but I have no way of proving it.
 

The silver one is still pretty soft, but has a beefier feel and seems to propel the ball forward with more gusto and imparts more energy into the ball. That one to me feels like the 2019 Scotty Cameron putters. It also feels like it puts a pretty tight and immediate roll on the ball, but the RPMs feel a little higher than the v groove face. Again, I have no way of proving this. 
 

The black one is the firmest and really imparts a lot of energy into the ball launching it forward. It feels like it lifts the ball off the ground a little. It’ll probably be no different than your flat face or finely-milled face putters you’ve used. 
 

So…just depends on what you want. If I was putting downhill on 13-stimp greens then gold one; uphill on 13 greens then the black one; a flat long putt on 13 greens then silver one. Guess I’ll have to bag all three at once and ditch my driver and lob wedge. 😂

A couple of days ago I did order my first Lajosi. LP 421 at 35.5" and 75*. Sunbrunt on Carbon. Matte Black shaft and Tan grip. Really looking forward to it!

Last summer Kari quoted me 6-8 weeks and my putter arrived in my hand during the 7th week. To be fair mine was pretty plain, some guys say add 3-4 weeks if he has to do extra work.

That’s kind of what I was expecting but wasn’t sure. Definitely want to do a project with Kari.

Do it took me a while to decide but I was happy with mine and will do another one at some point.

Kari is wonderful to work with. He’s busy as previously stated, but I’ve probably done 4-5 projects with him and not once have I been disappointed with the final result.

I love his flow/slant necks on the DD201 they look so good and they're 1 piece milled. They do look odd on the Sensor though.
