Putter repair in Austin?

Took a golf trip recently and when I returned, noticed that my putter now sets up very closed. It is a Scotty Cameron Hollywood for the record. When you look at it there is no noticeable damage so it just seems to me like maybe the head or neck got bent during travel.

I'm looking for a good repair person in the area that might be able to address this as it seems a bit much to send it to Cameron. Any thoughts?

Dave Pelz is out in Bee Cave, he might have a recommendation. Nick West, the best guy in Central Texas is no longer at a retail store, but he may do work from his garage. Sorry, don't know either number. You know, Lions Muny is where Ben Crenshaw sometimes goes out to for a visit. The guys behind the desk might know a connection for putter work. It's pretty sad here, the guy at Replay Golf left and he worked on Scotty's. Can't recommend anyone at the GolfSmiths and the repair guy at The Golf Club on 71 left also. Maybe call around to the clubs and see what you can find?

Seems like a standard repair item to rebend it or reshaft it back to spec or your preference...doubt that you need an 'expert' for this. Might I suggest finding a local person and do a putter fitting - many times that can repair, tweak while ensuring the proper length, lie, loft for your swing - it is not that expensive either,

There is a place called labworx they look pretty good. Haven't used them but probably will soon.

I use a place for my putters in Arlington called Custom Putter Works he is really good.

Also I use a guy in San Antonio that is really good with everything club repair. He doesn't do custom painting or anything like that but when it comes to club work he is the man. It is called Polo field club repair. He is located on the side of the range at the first tee of San Antonio. His name is Ben really good guy.

Thanks for all the feedback. It does seem very strange that in such a storied golf town repair and fitting are so elusive. Ryan Crysler and Spencer Reynolds used to have a killer facility called My Performance Golf out at Austin Golf Club. They were a TPI center and did a driver fitting for me, but both have since moved on.

Anyway, I ended up just sending it into the Custom Shop. Both local shops I went to were nervous to do anything and suggested that. Will have some minor additional work done.
