Heavier head weighted wedge recommendations please

Searched but didn't find any thread specifically about this, though he assumes it has come up before...

 

JP picked up a used old set of Macgregor Tourney PCB Tour irons that are heavier in the head than a lot of today's offerings (certainly his current inventory of irons), and the PW is 48*...Jack has a Miura CB-301 (essentially copies of the Macgregor iron) gap wedge, but will need a 56* or 58* lob wedge. He'd like something in line with the irons and gap wedge, weight wise. Is there some choices other than a Miura? (They don't make a CB-301 lob or sand wedge.) He has other wedges, but they are rather light compared to the irons/gap wedge in this set. The irons have Rifle shafts, & JP does not recall the shaft in the CB-301. Used or new models are fine. Any ideas welcomed.

Getcha a big ole roll of lead tape - like the pros!

I think most of the forged wedges feel heavier, but I'm not certain.

He is trying desperately to not do that to his existing wedges as he is a little bit of a...what's the word...fussbudget about his clubs, regrettably. Jack regards this as a character flaw, somewhat. But it is what it is. And he will reconsider it all. Thanks.

If you can find an original Snake Eyes EV wedge, these were by far the heaviest wedges I ever played.

+1 I was very pleased with the feel of the new RoTex wedges

Rotex 2.0 CB wedges are quite heavy. Haven't tried the blades

Tell Jack to get himself some lead tip weights. Big ones. And use a heavy shaft like Dynamic Gold S400. The club will be plenty heavy.

Aviador is not now nor ever has been man enough to swing the Cleveland 588 series. Deadlift, maybe. Bench press, possibly. Swing consistently, not a chance.

JP may want to consider one.

Miura headweights tend to be heavier if I remember correctly.

Jack Nicklaus uses lead tape.

The older TM RAC wedge heads come out high in SW when I shafted them from previous wedge heads.
