Hail to the king.... of putters

so I went on a bit of a binge the last couple of weeks... for other reason than because I wanted to... I wanted to own a Buttonback they look cool, so I bought one... and then I saw another so I said why not buy a Circle T BB as well... along with an 009 for good measure.

They all went up against my Lord Byron Morgan DH89.... and they all lost... one by one they went down... like the salisbury steak in a Hungry Man.... and the indigestion was very similar to that of the Salisbury Steak as well. I played 100 holes on Monday and they all got their fair shake... at first I was alternating holes but then I decided to simply play 18 with each putter (except the BB since that was already listed... didn't want to take the chance of dinging it up... I played with the DH89, 009 and Rory 006)

so the Circle T BB is already on BST now and the 009 will soon follow once I get back from Florida and I can add to the listing. If I could add to a pinned listing it would be done already.....

anyway, thanks to Byron and Bruce...

This is where I stopped reading. 100 holes in one day? Is that really possible?
[/quote]

Wow, back in high school I once played 81 in a day.....but I was out at the course from sun up until sundown. Our sunset in mid-late June was also around 10:45pm

Haha. Yeah. We started at 630am. We got rained on and I actually finished 83. But JGalls finished the whole 100. He had some pull being a member of the club. The guys had to pull us off the course. The event is called 100 Holes for Kids. We raise money for victims of child abuse. 22 of us raised $93,450.

I love these posts.. "Hail to the king of putters??"

No need for the diatribe, "I dropped a few grand to roll a few putts with most expensive top of line putters on earth and by the way I played exactly 100 holes in one day!" just cut to it and say.. "I prefer my putter......"
Lol!!

No offense but with that kind of investment.. wouldn't you want truly get fitted and have a professional use technology to assess each with you? Especially if you're dropping cash like Jay-Z...why waste time playing.... 100 holes?

80+ holes is impressive. When I was a younger buck my buddy and I used to play 54 holes in Palm Springs in the summer. Play early AM - breakfast break, play another 18 - lunch break, play another 18 and limp to our cars looking like red lobsters. I wouldn't even try to do that anymore or I would end up hating golf.

Which dh89 won the battle? Seem to recall you had dh89 models of two differing materials at one point...

Some people are just offended by the disposable income of others. Call me crazy, but I like to go to a putter forum to read about expensive putters.

That's wonderful raising money for charity Joey, and getting to play 100 holes doing it is icing on the cake, and with a few thousand dollars worth of putters! Kudos! I love working for charity. I too just last week finished a charity event with my team, we literally boxed canned goods for needy families for 6 hrs to be shipped out. Golfing Charities are the way to go! The 100 holes is an interesting one. Of course I was kidding with ya in my prev post but...It just seems like a strange time to give that sort investment the putter challenge of the century. It's awesome you got the chance to do that and play for charity! Enjoy your flatstick

Hail to the King of Putters!!!

No surprise my man. Walked/played 9 last night in my league. ZERO interest in being out there and was a noodle. Think I shot the same amount over for 9 then I did in total for the 3 rounds I was paired with you.
