chamblee over miller....talks like hes some great tour golfer and he won a single tournament that doesnt even exist on tour anymore. really do wonder the strings some of these goons pull to get on tv, because their knowledge of the modern game can be very suspect (post 2000, more so the new tech that has changed it in the past 15 years)...nothing drives me crazy more than these guys continually talking about guys hitting the ball so much farther like its some voodoo magic.

Dislike every golf announcer. They've become bigger than the game IMO. They get more TV time than the actual players that we turn the TV on to watch. I only need to hear their voice, not see their face. There is zero reason for the camera to show Jim Nantz or Johnny Miller, or Nick Faldo, etc. chatting about nonsense when there are ACTUAL GOLFERS hitting ACTUAL GOLF SHOTS in the background that we would rather see. You can set the tone for the tournament without the audience ever having to actual see what you look like. That's why I like the European Tour coverage. They get it right. More golf, less dudes sitting in a chair reminiscing in front of the camera. Rant over.

Just relaying a personal experience with Feherty- A few years ago, was playing in a charity event for Wounded Warrior Project and a very well known so-called professional golfer was a no show. One of the Vets, a Marine that had lost right eye and hand as a result of IED, pulled out his cell phone and called David Feherty, whom he had met while in hospital and considered a friend, to express his displeasure with player not honoring commitments. Feherty, who was home recovering from broken arm sustained in a bike ride for veterans, immediately hung up and stated he would be there in three hours (about 2.5 hour trip from his location) and he wanted to personally meet the veterans and thank them for their service. When he arrived, he personally did as he said he would and took each veterans name and number, and spent a few moments with each. He then stayed for dinner after tournament and moved from table to table despite being in obvious discomfort, with all manner of hardware coming out of arm. At no time did he act inappropriate, insincere, or superficial- he was kind, gracious, and genuinely interested in well-being of everyone there. It was later relayed to me over a period of time that he did numerous acts of kindness for those guys and made a point to make sure those acts were not publicly known. Point being, I personally do not care for the "character" or persona he portrays frequently when spotlight is on, however-character he displayed on that occasion told me a great deal about the man.

The only one I truly can't stand is Chris Berman doing golf. Hopefully that never happens again, some I obviously like better than others but none so much that I would turn off the telecast. It's just golf on TV, not a world crisis.

This past week with Fox Sports is was a fresh break from the ramblings of NBC, GC and CBS.. I wish I heard more from your average Joes that were not pushing private agendas..

Amazing when he goes hindsight on Tiger's bad decisions in strategy he's so overrated could never play even a little bit and has the most annoying voice in golf. Other than that he's great
