Let's See Some Kingston Putter Examples

Just got the email that my Kingston is getting ready to be shipped! Here it is in all it's beautiful glory! I wanted simple and more "industrial-ish" so I went with the torched finish and just stamps that tell about what it is. Except on the face which has a skull and crossbones. On the sole is its specs - Weight-350g, Loft-3°, Lie-71°, Date of Mfg-7/2016

I think many people on here would agree that there are better deals out there for similar or nicer putters. Kingstons have really gone up in price over the years.  Nothing wrong with them, but I'm personally not interested in what they do for the price.

Agree with this. I would buy one at maybe $500, maybe. There are lots of other options for what they ask for them new though.

I’ve owned/own quite a few customs and the Kingston was the most mediocre one I’ve owned.  Zero personality / soul in it… felt like I bought a mass produced putter for 600 bucks

I'm pretty sure they start around $750 now too.  

 

For the price...I couldn't agree more. There is no style or definition to their work. When I see a Mann, Mills, Mack, I know right away who made them.

Well when your putter is just plucked off a work bench, stamped and painted can't really ask for much soul or personality. 

 

There are a lot of brands that do that, some get more personality in them but some don't.

Why? It’s literally 303 stainless sourced from Europe.  It only cost more because you have to ship it to the US. Just like US 303 would cost more than GSS in Europe.  Purely marketing and makes absolutely zero difference.

Just costs you more thinking that it's special. The placebo of the golf world.
