Lefty putter p?rn; no RH sticks allowed!

Picked up this Bettinardi QB6 during my Studio B fitting earlier this week. I love the feel and roll consistency, one round in and already seeing improvements in my putting.

 

While it doesn't affect performance... The Hive headcover is definitely my favorite part! I highly recommend a Studio B fitting to anyone in the Chicago area.

Finally got my Sik back from BGT for the shaft install. Sik seems to be weird and use a .390 shaft (for anyone that wants to know), so I had to send it out to them for the correct adaptor. 

 

Then I have my "modded" Betti that had been used as the interim. I'm about 95% sure they never made the iNOVAi 5.0 for us lefty's, so I took a RH one and swapped the steel over to a LH 3.0, and BAM.. surprisingly the feel is much more sturdy on the stroke over the 3.0.

Not sure if this would class as putter porn but I'm pretty happy with how my own made one came out. Made a bit of an update with the plumber's neck and added a KBS OneStep matt black shaft.

Ok, picked up a new putter from the most recent Brandon Matthew release. Thing rolls like a dream and will be my gamer rolling into 2022. Flowneck no. 2 with a beautiful antique finish.

I have been using the odyssey black series 2 for a long time, I finally decided to give a mallet a try. Love it. The two ball plus triple trac aiming lines are perfect. The insert has improved compared to the original 2 ball I had many years ago.

Still with the SIK nice, as for the Rosemark I like the material just not the nubs they cause my eczema to flair up on my hands I think or the material. Going to try the NEO version.

Yeah, it's still a solid performer for me; alignment and head weight just seem to work. The little Betti 5.0 I "made" lefty is nice, but I just leave it short too often. That will probably go and I think I'll finally just build a custom putter this winter unless I can find a Hive that checks all my boxes. 

 

I totally understand about the feel. I'm still not 100% on the tactile surface, but when I grip my other P2 grip I roll with, it now seems super slick. So maybe I'm slowly getting used to it. The neo ones were on my list to try, but after talking with them about what I was looking for, they suggested I give this one a go first. 

 

So I take it your soon to be "new" putter isn't all that new... Give us a drop date for the premier at least lol

I just sold my SIK last week was nice just no use for plumbers necks for me but it was a performer, still my best putting round with it. 

 

My hands do sweat a lot so some grips are super slick even within the same brand so the NEO saying it's super tacky is nice, I could buy the MFS one as well and return it if I don't like the feel. 

 

I'm picking up the putter tonight from my mail box, will see about taking some pics but the lighting in my house is awful, I think candles would do a better job but I can snap some pics.

I do like that they'll take them back if you don't like the feel, so I'd definitely see what you think since it's risk free. 

 

Maybe the candle lighting will complement the old "shed" design you've teased us about then lol.

Xenon #171. Never had a Xenon, never really my thing, saw this one, pretty tame for Lumpy price was good so why not help the cabin fever.

Oh that's different. Little swan neck action and the contrast on the back.. I dig that a lot! Nice pick-up!

It is just a touch of offset, still with some toe hang like 20-25° which I'm totally fine it. It's more the 331g head weight but I'll definitely try it out on the carpet.

Stripped that ugly and dull purple paint fill on the Xenon above and went with a bit more color themed match and well...take a look.

I originally posted a Scotty Detour Conversion Newport 2 with LAGP shaft. Ended up selling the head and putting the shaft in a Studio Style Newport 2 w/ 303 GSS insert. Seems to have a little better feel, liking it so far.
