Well the top end at least. I just got the driver today, so it's not official yet. Ok fine, I'm completely jumping the gun. I'm just excited about my new toy, and had to tell somebody. She still has to go head to head with the champ. The SLDR 430. The fairways are firmly planted though. I still have to do some tweaking on the driver. Swing weight is a little heavy, and I'm not sure I wanna fight with the Indigo 8x for 18 holes every round. Soon enough I'll have a couple of other shafts to try out, then it's off to a trackman fitting.

Fairway woods look solid. How did you find a 5 wood? Not listed on their site or on tgw.

The Japanese site has 5 and 7 woods listed. Maybe he worked out an import?

Incidentally, looking at the Japanese and English sites, the 3+ offered on the English site isn't available on the Japanese site, except as a "Tour" model, which only has a 3 and 3+ wood, and the Tour model has a smaller head (150cm3 versus 168cm3 on the US model).

So you bought the driver without hitting, with sw that's off and wrong shaft? Other than that it's a solid gamer?

That's what you got from my OP? Selective much? I have no doubts it's a great driver, don't know if it's good enough to beat the SLDR yet though. Considering how I hit it with the wrong shaft, wrong swing weight, and wrong length. It's very promising.

I got lucky on the faiways. Walked into PGA superstore and found a 3,4, and 5 wood with Diamana ion's in the used section. A tour player who lives in the area had traded them in. I jumped on the 3 and 5.

Nice find. What's life without a little gamble. Srixons perform so great, you really have nothing to lose. Besides, you have to play a set. The SLDR would throw the chemistry off with your Srixon woods. lol

Lol, it would be one of the few times I've had a matching set. I tested the 745 quite a bit. Was able to get similar numbers to my SLDR. Ball speed has been slightly faster. I'm hoping the 945 will launch higher and spin the same or less with that higher ball speed. Not asking for much right? Lol! If the numbers pan out though, I'll be thrilled. If not, I'll just sell it and look for the next contender.
