I'm pretty traditional when it comes to apparel. I even own one of those highlighter shirts. Not full highlighter, just a bit of piping around the collar and sleeves. Gotta keep the economy rolling and ensure that Rory gets his annual stipend. Mind you, the look is a bit out of place when sporting War birds and BeCu's, but I haven't brought myself to the point of where I want to relive the seventies with plaid slacks and turtlenecks.

A few years ago, I put together a "mutt bag" similar to what OSR described. I'd missed this thread until now. I'll just jump in :)

 

When I started playing golf, I had long hair, well past my shoulders. Always elicited a few looks from folks when I showed up. LOL I cut it off after a few years, once it got to the point where I was getting annoyed by the hair hitting me in the face every swing.

 

No ink or piercings, not even an ear. I like to think of myself as non-traditional in that I don't have either, since they're nearly everywhere now.

 

I suppose one could say my footwear is non-traditional, I only wear True Linkswear shoes on the course. They're quite lovely.

I was a long hair too until I'd had enough of the heat here after a few years and cut it short. :)

My golf shoes are the same colour as my fluoro yellow golf balls, in case I overstay and can't be found in the dark.

Similar to photo
