Project X PROTO shaft the "HZRDUS"

I’ve been swinging the yellow for a couple weeks now (6.0) I like. Just a little whippy on aggressive swings..

Have a tip curing on a 83g Yellow for my 3wood. Any feedback before I get it out to hit this weekend?

 

6.5 or 6.0?

 

6.5. Got a long practice session in and 2 rounds so far and it is very good. Probably the best shaft I've hit in a 3 wood. Definitely going to stay in the bag unless someone tries to trade me a P95 for it

AD DI tipped 1.5 inches 7X playing 45 inches in my Vapor Pro

 

and own

 

D+ tipped 1 inch 7X playing 45 inches in my Vapor Pro

 

right now the AD DI is winning as its my old faithful shaft... now if i was to go with a Hzrdus then what tipping should i go in a nike adapter???

I've moved the HRZDUS black handcrafted around to a few heads now and have had the same results in all of them. Fairly flat, low spin bombs. Left is pretty much gone except when I get floppy with it. Have it in a Sub Zero right now. More flat, low spin bombs. Balls don't fall out of the air forever it seems. They don't balloon, they just get to the apex and keep carrying.

The Black and DI are different animals. I'd start with 1/2", maybe 3/4.

Found a great deal on the Bay for a black 6.0 for my 915. Will compare it against my rogue 125 60 TS. I'm hoping I'll be able to turn the hzrdus over for a small draw.

Had some range time this weekend with M1, rouge silver x and hzrdus black 65 6.0. Feel is very similar. hzrdus seemed a bit more stable. Rouge may have been a touch longer, but hzrdus dispersion was much better. Bad swings did not seem to be as exaggerated. Ball flight was similar, with the hzrdus being a touch lower.

I compared the HZRDUS Black/Yellow to Rogue Silver and found it to be very similar to 'dnoonan'. HZRDUS was a little tighter and offered better dispersion compared to Rogue. Distance for me was about the same.

I don't know your swing, but I have the Black 75 6.5 with no tipping that I got fit into. I am a pretty jerky transition and swing in the 110 arena. If you are faster, like 113-115, but smooth I would think maybe .5".

thanks... no idea my swing speed... i try adn be smooth... 6 iron carry average for my Mp25 was 197 average with C Taper X... will probably order tonight with 0.5 inches....

I find the HZRDUS a touch easier to load. Not much between them but if i had to say ones a smidge softer i'd say HZRDUS. Still plays a teeny bit stiff to flex IMO.

 

Edit - I am comparing the 75 6.0 sorry.

That's great news for me. I was worried about the 65 6.0 being too stiff. I handle my Speeder just fine so I thinking this 65 6.0 is going to work out awesome. Comes in the mail tomorrow and very fired up to get it to the range. It will head to head against the 757 Evo TS.

The fitting numbers on an outdoor launch monitor were impressive and hoping I see the same numbers on the course. I was spinning the ball way too much and this combo basically cut the number number in half. I'll report back with my findings after a few range sessions and a round or two.

To me? yes don't find the d+ all that low of a launch
