A 2.5 with the EZ fit strap system would be THE bag.

the shoulder pads look as awful as the front 9 pads. very uncomfortable. the extra little weight that well padded shoulder pads add is always worth it.

1) Disappointed in the color options for the Three 5.
2) Why doesn't the 2.5 get the same shoulder straps? The ones it comes with look like they wont work too well.

I find the looper bag kinda of funny. No caddy wants a bag with 8 pockets! and over 6lbs. LOL.

Saw them today. 2.5 is insanely light (obviously)...xcr is not what I thought it would be, had a dif material like a leather/vinyl feel...the blue/lime/black bag is an awesome color combo that looks great in person. Supposedly new bags are already shipping.

Great, thanks very much for posting. I'm still using a 2011 model, which I love, but which is getting a bit worn. Time for an upgrade in 2016 I think. Liking the look of the Three 5, Four 5 and XCR!

No...unless they are counting that front mesh/elastic thing as a water bottle pocket. I saw on their catalog that bag has 4 pockets. the mesh/elastic thing being one, a valuable pocket with the apparel pocket and a small pocket on the left side. Dont think there was a water bottle cut away in that left pocket.

I was ready to order one of these until I saw it. Liked the light weight and over all design but that mesh/elastic pocket threw me off. I guess they couldnt get the desired weight with a front ball pocket that zips. Although I dont think many would complain if it weighed 2.7 or so.

That is a bummer, but I suppose the front elastic pocket could be a beverage pocket and golf balls/tees could go in what is presumably a zip pocket on the left side of the bag (not visible in the catalog pics)?

Also does it look like this bag will fit well on a cart? Unlike say the Titleist Sunday carry bags which fall apart.

They seem like they will be fine on a cart. I didnt get a chance to put one on a cart and ride with it but it felt sturdy enough. Again, I really liked that bag if it wasnt for that mesh front pocket. Thought they could have put another ball pocket there but that would have made it like 2.8 lbs and from what I hear they were determined to keep it at 2.5.

I've been very interested in the 2.5 but since it has been delayed so long since they originally announced its availability I think I'll hold off. I'd assume the long delay was due to manufacturing issues, so it will be good to know if there are any residual quality problems.

Those look nice, I also like the grey 4.5. But the dividers in the 3.5 are concerning, although I'v never owned a sun mountain bag, the two dividers on either side in the middle look like they will sort of force the shafts, grips, clubs to the bottom corner of each of those diagonal sections and they'll want to just sit on top of each other, massive grip tangling and club chattering potential. Hope I'm wrong. I have an OGIO Gotham bag right now and the middle dividers are sort of sloped like the ones on the 3.5, and its pretty annoying.

Any news on the 2.5? I was told in an email from customer service they'd be out on August 17th, but haven't seen them in stock anywhere.
