My buddy loves his Sun mountain bag, are they extremely light? Great bag to walk in...

Here are pictures of my 2016 C130S bag. On the left side, there are three zippered pockets. The top zipper has a deep pocket which works for storing my two pair of glasses. You have a smaller pocket just below the C-130S label. The bottom zipper is for the insulated beverage cooler. You can also see how the angle on the front to the back it just a little too much.

I just got off the phone with Matt, a customer service manager with Sun Mountian, and he offered a very satisfactory solution to the problem I had with my 3.5 bag. I have posted some critical things about my interactions with SM CS, but now I have to give them credit for helping to make things right. Thank you Sun Mountain.

If you are on iOS, go in and edit the photo on your iOS device. I find that cropping them slightly is all it should take and they should post upright.

Cart bags are lower in front and higher in the back. That makes the irons easily reached and are not blocked by the taller woods when being used on a cart. That is the opposite of how carry bags are designed. The C130S is designed for carry and cart use. At the range, there are stands to hold the bags while you practice and I drive a cart when I play. The legs will hardly get extended with the way I use it. So I want my clubs to be placed the same way a cart bag would hold the clubs (and the way I have been placing my clubs for the last 45 years). Changing front and back height just a little will make it better for cart use without impacting carry use.

For me, having the wedges slightly lower on the cart and blocked by the woods has never been a problem as I've always reached into the bag from the side. So, shouldn't affect me which is good.

I have the C130 and it great if all it is used for is when you drive carts. But when it comes to carrying it, it is very unbalanced and heavy. When I used it at my current club, I had to deal with clubs wanting to slide out and head covers coming off. It would want to tip downward because of the weight at the top of the bag. This is not a problem with the C130S.

But you're only carrying it from your car, to the range, or car to the bag drop/cart loading area? I've never had a problem with my C130 being top heavy, may you've got the strap adjusted odd? Or you could try one of those straps meant to help distribute/adjust the weight,[url="http://vesselbags.com/golf-accessories/tour-strap.html"] like this one?[/url] I dunno, if you're happy, you're happy I guess! Just seems inefficient to get a stand bag, with no intentions of using the legs...

Some lovely looking bags there. I've looked at other leather bags, just haven't pulled the trigger due to cost (and it's probably pretty silly for a 14 handicap golfer to call attention to his game). But if they can do these in scale and bring prices down a little, makes them even more attractive.

I understand Hoyer's frustration with the angle of the top. To carry, it seems to work best with the woods to the back, but when you put it on the cart it seems odd. I've finally just accepted that the woods are going to be further away when my bag is on the cart. But like someone else said, I usually reach in from the side anyway, not standing directly behind the bag. So for me, while not perfect, it works ok.

I'm going to go look at the C130S this week. Last year when we went on our trip I took my C130 since we ride every round. But I was surprised at how much walking we did, from parking lots, to the range, in and out of the hotel, etc. It's not a good bag for carrying even that far.

For anyone who has both the 130 and 130S, is the difference in ease of carrying and the convenience of legs on the range of the S enough to warrant having both versions?

Anyone else have the mesh material on the EZ-Fit system pique the material of your shirts where that piece rests/rubs against your back? Although this piece is padded, the mesh is somewhat abrasive and ruined a few of my shirts. Otherwise, I like the style and colors.

Just take one of my flags use fabric glue and put it over the upside down one. And yes as an Veteran I agree with you in principal on the upside down American Flag

To anyone using the new 2016 c-130s bag, how are you liking it so far? Are you having any grip tangle issues? I have been hunting the perfect bag for the last several months and that is my biggest issue is that every bag I have tried, even though it was a 14 way bag, the grips would get tangled up and I'd have a hard time getting clubs in and out.

I have midsize grips and a superstroke. I haven't really had an issues with pulling clubs.

[/quote]Well, looks like I spoke too soon. First, they sent me an ultralight H2NO bag to replace my 3.5. The bag they sent was much smaller than my 3.5, and a used bag that was very poorly repaired. I called them back, and they said they would send me another bag. I told them the exact bag I wanted, and gave them 3 color options. The bag arrived today in a color that I had not asked for. When I called they said they would send me another bag. I told them to forget about, and I would return the bag they sent, and be done with them. I can't believe their customer service is so incompitent.
