First time poster, long time reader "woot woot" - How easy was it to uninstall the single strap, and then install the EZ-Fit strap system?

Any issues with the C130s on a 3.5+? I've read angled tops can be a hassle on a push cart. Is the C130s good for a push cart?

 

I like having a stand for the practicing and I push/ride when I play.

This is the key question for me too. I'll put the dual strap on this bag and the only question left is how it'll perform on the ClicGear 3.5+.

Have you had a chance to ride in a cart with it? If so what are you thoughts, any twisting and turning, or does it do ok?

I've been a Sun Mountain advocate and probably helped them sell 40 bags. Between a C-130 and 4.5, I've used a SM for the past 10 or so years. I've given away several I've won in the past but decided recently to keep a 2015 4.5 and looked forward to replacing my 2011 4.5. Much to my chagrin I noticed 2 less pockets, straps are more bulky, and it just appears cheaper made. Colors are pretty though and I guess that counts for something.

 

What are your thoughts on how the 4.5 handles in the cart? I like to walk, but there are times where that's not an option and my current bag sloshes around in the cart bag well like a wet noodle due to the leg mechanism. Any thoughts on how secure the bag remains during the course of play whilst on a cart would be very much appreciated!

I did this same thing to my 2013 Hybrid (pre-cursor to the C130-S) and love it. Although I play 98% of my rounds using a Clicgear and practically never carry, for those rare occasions that I do the double strap makes a tremendous difference...definitely worth the minimal investment. For those asking about installation instructions, Chilidog has it nailed. It's rather difficult to explain over a computer, but get the bag and the straps in your hands and the everything will make sense.

 

For those asking about how the bag handles on a Clicgear, my bag is obviously not the current model, but I think it works tremendously. The top doesn't slant enough to cause any problems for me (I keep my wedges across the bottom row closest to the handle if that makes any difference), and the bag doesn't shift side to side on the cart at all. 2016 version looks awesome, but I can't justify getting rid of my 2013 Hybrid. It's taken fantastic care of me for the past 2 seasons, and I'm sure it will continue to do so for years to come.

Mostly cart with it, have an ultra light I use for walking. If there's a chance of rain and a tourney I need to walk I'll take it but those are rare. Seems like the perfect size, doesn't move around too much, just enough pocket space.

Thats the one I have, looks solid still after ~75 rounds and the 14 way top is really nice. Black lets you do a lot headcover wise. Only "had" to use it once but it was my biggest tourney of the year in a downpour so it was nice to have the peace of mind that my stuff stayed somewhat dry, I have a 14 way cart back too but mainly used this or the ultra light to walk. Enjoy my friend!

I just purchased a Sun Mountain Sync golf bag and am really impressed. I was looking for a midsize cart bag and came across this particular model. This works very well on power carts , which is how I golf 99% of the time. It is geared for their push carts, so if I decide to go that route it will work perfectly. I got the blue with yellow highlight and it looks sharp. *****

If anyone wants a dual strap I'd recommend just calling their support line. SM has the absolute best customer service.

 

I've called them 2x to get a dual strap (one for my C130 Hybrid bag and once fro my 3.5 blacked out bag) and I got them within a week of calling, all no charge.

I have the 3.5 black series and its absolutely a stunner bag, but I use my C130 stand bag just because I do walk 99% of the time and I like having the extra room. But the magnetic pockets and the ballistic nylon bag just looks too sick.

Makes me want to hold onto my 3.5 one for sure. One of the all time coolest bags I've ever seen.
