Grafalloy "new" Blue , still in the bag?

Been getting the itch to build a new driver paired with this shaft. Just not sure if the 913 D3 w/ Ahina might be leaving a few yards short. Anyone still playing this shaft with a newer, low spin head?

Got fitted for r15 with new blue x flex
Very solid combo
Ball hits ground running
Shaft feels very stable with plenty of feel go for it if you used old model

Hi, always loved the old blue. For me, I've always played the r flex as it is pretty stiff.
1st tried the new blue in a 12 degree SLDR. This combo was seriously long for me when I caught one. I remember hitting a few high but when I got down the fairway, they were surprisingly long. I should never have got rid of that club!!!!!!!
I currently have a 9 degree G30 with the blue. I like it a lot, more consistent distance but not as long as the SLDR.
I've just got a new tour issue 9.5 (actual 10.4 degree) TM R15 460 that I'm really excited to try with the blue in the next few days. Overall for the price, this shaft is great and if you get the right combo, it's long.

[/quote] Great post. Thanks for that, am actually looking for a 12 SLDR head to put on a Blue. I've hIt SLDR's in simulators at GG etc and have seen good numbers, even with the stock shafts, liked the feel off the face too. Just figured I'd wait until the prices came down and used ones were more plentiful.

I've been playing the new (white) blue for nearly three seasons now. Put them in a bunch of different drivers and fairways, currently 65x in my Big Bertha Alpha and X2Hot 2Deep, then 75x in my 5Deep. Just a great shaft for the money. As you will hear very often, super stable, low launch, low spin monster. Personally, I also think the feel of the shaft is great.

Can't say enough about them, buy a couple, you won't be disappointed if your swing fits the basic criteria.

[/quote] I've been inspired to try a Blue out in my CB5 13* . I've had it for a while and only played one round with it, didn't much care for the Aldila but got it so cheap I had to hold onto it.
