Need New Hybrid... Suggestions?

Im in search of a new hybrid and am looking for suggestions on what you think.

Roughly 15 hdc so I need one that is going to be easy to hit. I currently have a Covert 2.0 Tour and I just cant hit it to save my life.

 

Im also looking to go on the cheap... maybe something that is a few years old

PS if it makes any difference... I really enjoy the look of a deep face

Some Adams have a deep face.
I'm a 16 HC currently and have enjoyed the Ping Karsten hybrids. Carried the 4 and 5 but as of this week only carrying the 4 now ;-)

My Hcp has been in the 14-18 range for quite a while and I have found some of the Cleveland's very easy to hit with distance and control. Particularly good results with Mashie+ and the 588s. And they can be had pretty inexpensively nowadays.

I don't like hybrids that look like tiny woods. I prefer the ones that have more of an iron shape. They are easier to hit for me. I use the Adams dhy pro hybrid. They are cheap on eBay and discount sites like rock bottom golf

OP, it would help if you described why you don't like your current hybrid. What are your misses? Do you have it shafted with the stock shaft? I'm asking because the Nike Covert 2.0 and Vapor line of hybrids has been real solid for me, especially compared to a lot of other hybrids on the market. The only hybrid I'd recommend without knowing more info about why you don't like your Nike is the TEE Beta series of hybrids. These things are LONG and more forgiving than you'd think given the small profile of the head.

Not sure you read OP...

I would say take a look at the Adams options. I know Rock Bottom Golf is having an Adams hybrid and fairway sale today for $40 for most of them. I have an Adams Pro hybrid and love it but their other lines like the Super S line are good as well. Hell they even have the DHy on there for $40 if you want something more like an iron.

Ive hit a bunch of them, and think the SLDR hybrid/rescue is a great club. Super forgiving, adjustable, and you can get them for 50$ or so shipped. Ive had the 4h in the bag a while, just added the 3h, and they wont be going anywhere any tine soon.

I just cant seem to hit the ball haha. I couldnt tell you the issue. It has the stock kuro kage shaft.
For some reason i only seem to get good contact about 1 out of 10 hits. I generally choke down some on every club (just whats comfortable and works) but i tend to always top it with this club.. but when I dont choke on it, I either hit fat or have a killer slice (generally hit a fade/draw with all my other clubs)

Im looking for something mid/high launch if that helps at all

I'd say go adams for hybrids, the adams pro series are quite nice .. if possible you might also want to hit a bunch and figure out whats best that way, I find a hybrid is the finickiest club

I would slap some lead tape on there or check the length and swing weight first. Get something close to the total weight of your irons. My favorite club these days is a 24.5 tm stage 2 head with a diamana D92x next iron is a xforged 5 with px 6.0.
