2016 Fantasy Golf League

I do a fantasy golf league every year on Yahoo under the team name You Love My Picks!. Some of you probably play in it.

 

Yahoo is no longer offering fantasy golf, so I started a league on The Golf Channels Fantasy Golf page. The league is:

Are you sure the league ID is GolfWRX? When I tried to join the website said only numbers could be used for the league ID...

Bummer. This is the first I've heard about Yahoo not running fantasy golf. I've been in a league at work with about 15 people for many years, so it looks like we'll be trying to find another site as well. What made you decide on Golf Channel's fantasy golf? What other fantasy golf sites are out there? Trying to pick your brain if you've already done some research so I can help our commish. Thanks.

PGATour.com is that you pick 4 players only and get a max of 10 starts.

I picked GolfChannels because I knew I could start my own league. I also like to see how I am doing against the "experts" at the Golf Channel. You pick one player out of 4 catagories that are broken up by world golf rankings.

I was bummed a few years back when ESPN killed their fantasy golf game, but nowhere near as bummed as this news about Yahoo...why on earth are they dumping it? Are they too busy trying to get a piece of the money NFL games?

i stopped by yahoo the other day and seen the unfortunate news, glad you moved the the league instead of just cancelling it, it is a bunch of fun. joined under the same name as my user name here. looking forward to competing again

Yahoo changed their mind today on fantasy golf. It's back up now. I'm all for getting it back there if people want to play.
