A must play if you live in TX. The staff is top notch. Greens are true and in great shape, stimp is based on daily playing conditions. I am not sure how this place will survive long term, I'll be following how the real estate play turns out as that will tell how this place moves fwd IMO.

This is accurate.

Wide open fairways, no rough, pine trees & mulch. From the fairways you can turn 360 degrees and see the other holes, much like ANGC) but still feel alone on the course. Decent players will have trouble losing a ball off the tee, but the green complexes will test every aspect of your short game. You can hit every fairway and every green and still walk away with double bogey on a hole. And if you miss the green . . . oh boy. Greens are sloping and undulating like you've never seen. (Even the practice green is "expert level"). It is entirely walkable, with tees close to greens, and conditions are immaculate. Service is on par with Discovery LC type facilities. The pro staff is top notch.

The Playground is awesome. A 10 hole pitch and putt with lights for night play (same for practice green). And the range is loaded with regular targets and a giant bullseye gong target.

I've been fortunate enough to play some great tracks - Top 100, best in state, etc., and Bluejack is in my top 5 . . . maybe top 3 . . . or 2. Bluejack is special. Moreover, the design of the course (hard to lose a ball off the tee) is something that every new course development or redesign needs to consider. Want to grow the game? Bluejack's design can do that. That is, nothing is more frustrating than lost balls for beginner or intermediate players. Bluejack proves that a course can be extremely challenging without being a beat down. But strong players will still enjoy it because, if you want to walk away with par or birdie, you need to hit your spots off the tee and from the fairway. Wrong location in the fairway because of a missed tee shot? Harder approach shot. Miss the correct quadrant on the green because of a bad approach shot? Forget about 2 putting.

I seriously think I could play Bluejack every day and not get bored.

Having used to play Blaketree, and loving it I can only imagine how Bluejack is.....I will buy dinner and beers for whoever can get me on....Help this poor ole teacher/coach out. My teaching salary don't allow me many options when it comes to private courses
