Just noticed that B*dget G*lf has all the RZN Black on sale / closeout. 24.99 which is cheaper then anywhere else I have found or seen....if you play RZN balls that is.

Thanks, it is a great ball. It might be a "harder" golf ball then many premium balls and not spin as much around the greens, but it is one of the best wind balls and great off the tee and longer shots.

Just loaded up on 6 dozen. Played the RZN Black in 2014 and the RZN Platinum in 2015. Love them both. The Black are just long and like BigHook says, cut through the wind very well. They do the "drop stop" on the greens and you can't really get funky with spin around the greens either. The Platinums are shorter by about 10-15 yards with the driver in my experience and a club with irons. The thing that made them so fun was what you could do around the greens. Reminded me of the old grooves with a ProV1 - spinning left, right, back at will.

I'll probably miss the low 50 yard pitch that spun back to the hole but I'll take more distance this year.

Got them for 240 zar here in SA, which is about 15 usd at the current exchange rate.

Stocked up on both. Both really good balls but the prefer the platinum for the green side control.

Can't wait for the new model, but cannot justify the suggested retail price as yet.

Love both of the balls. Can't wait for the new ones, as I find the black to be just a little to hard and it sounds like the new black will be softer.

I bought some of the 2016 RZN Tour Platinum. I've like the RZN balls in the past because they really fly off the tee so the ads running that say they're just as long but with a softer feel and more spin was really attractive to me.

I played a full round with them and they did not disappoint off the tee and felt much better off the putter. Unfortunately, they still lack in greenside spin compared to the other premium balls (Pro V1, B330-S, Z Star, Tour Preferred).

I could get them to check up, but after checking up, they' would not come to a complete stop, they'd check up then somehow roll out another 1-2 feet. I threw down a Pro V1 right after and it checked up and came to a dead stop. That's the kind of spin that is useful to me, when the ball comes to a quick stop.

So I'll be playing the other tour ball options again this year, no more Nikes

I also purchased a dz new platinum's. Haven't had time to play a round with them yet but I was able to get them on the practice green. As one guy mentioned in a previous post, they just don't have the greenside check as other premium balls in my opinion. I can get the 330's, ProV1X, and TPX to stop on dime, RZN not so much...

Interesting reading these last few posts. As soon as I can get my hands one some I will put them to the test. Been to a few places locally with no luck of having them in stock. Should have just ordered some on launch day on Nike.com.

I actually have the reverse problem. The RZN Platinums check up quite a bit for me around the greens. Might give the Blacks a whirl.

I haven't tried the 2016 RZN platinums, but last years model spun too much for me. The RZN black was great, but didn't spin as much on pitches and chips around the green. Need the driver distance off the black, but a middle ground of greenside spin between the black and platinum.

I love the RZN black, perfect ball for me. From what I have read the new balls are not much better, maybe a little softer. I don't think it's worth the price difference.

My findings with Nike balls, is historically you had to get the X or D ball to get distance off the tee. I tried the 2016 Platinum and think they finally fixed the issue. I was surprised on every drive at how much further it was than what I expected (and this is a course I play every week, so I know what my normal result is) This and the Pro V1+ are my new favorite golf balls.

Played a round with the new RZN platinum . What a great ball. They finally have the feel just right, felt very similar to a pro v1x . Good distance and low spin with the driver also . Green side spin was possibly better than the b1x and partial wedge and full wedge spin was exceptional

Overall very surprised and pleased with the ball, may well kick the v1x out of bag

Bought a Box of the new Platinum Balls and and played several rounds with them and can say it is the ball I will be playing this year. Love the flight, love the feel and love the stopping power on the greens. As good or better then any ball on the Market, and the cover really stands up.
