Looks like another year of really slow play, and I think it's getting worse. Seems like more players are leaning on their caddies a bit too much.

Danny Lee's caddie sounded like a father coaching his son in tee ball. Just get up and hit the f'ing ball. If you don't like the club, then just grab another one. He took over a minute and a half and then backed away. And prior to that he needed his caddie to walk him through everything.

 

Just saw Fowler miss a putt and immediately looked to his caddy. No need to be dramatic. He hit a bad putt. Just go finish up and get off the green.

Rickie's pants, while awful, are no worse than the ones with the slits in the cuffs ala Zach Johnson. They make me irrationally angry.

 

Rickie's shoes, however need to be killed. With fire if possible.

I love when the broadcast gets locked in on things like that, thinks they've slogged through to the shot, only to have the player back off. You can almost here the producer yelling "OH COME THE EFF ON!!"

What bothers me is how they are handling him in the broadcast. Yes, he's great. Well known. At the end of the broadcast it was more like "The Jordan Speith Show". Then that PGA commercial where all the other golfers were saying how great he is.

 

They need to just leave these people alone. Let them play golf and enjoy their success. It's terribly obvious how much these networks and the PGA are trying to make bank on these guys. The business of pro sports gets worse (or better depending on who you ask) every year.
