No luck with Cameron custom shop

Can I add a sight line and initials on my own?

Hey all!!

I sent my beat up old newport oil can to the custom shop last week and was very excited. I knew I was supposed to get an e-mail from the shop but I never got one. I checked the tracking # and the shop did not accept my putter. I later found out that they don't take any international orders. (I am from Canada.) Now my putter is in Louisville and hopefully will get home soon. My question is how can I get my cameron fixed? Are there any other places that will fix them up, even if they are coming from Canada?

What should I do??

Send it to me along with what you want done to it (and the funds) and I will ship it to Cameron for you. Should not be a big deal. If not me, then one of your friends in the states should be able to handle it for you. Hope this helps

This is strange, I know someone who sent his Cameron for refinishing about 6 months ago and the custom shop did the work for him, he lives in Canada and it looks great.

I have still not heard anything from the custom shop so it will be interesting to hear what they say about this.

Did you put your Customer Order No. on the outside of the box, it could just be a simple little problem. Or it could be a problem with fedex, i wouldn't get upset yet but the shipping cost are probably now lost.

I did have the order # on the box. I have been checking the UPS tracking service online and it says the reciever refussed delivery and the club is now in Kentuky. I'm at a lose with this.

PGARob, I am in Vancouver and sent a putter to the SC Shop earlier this year via UPS. The Shop refused the putter when it arrived because they were required to pay a brokerage fee. When the putter made it back home, I resent it at an expedited rate (incld. all required fees) and they accepted the putter. The putter was refinished and returned within a few weeks.

I got a call today from UPS and they told me the package was not accepted which I already knew. I asked them if the knew why and they did not. I told the woman it was probably the customs charges and that I would pay the charges if possible so they could send it back to cameron. The lady checked and it turns out there was no charge when it arrived to cameron! So now I am really confused. I told her to send the putter back and I think I will reshaft and get a new grip. I want to add a sight line and my initials to the putter. Is this something I can do on my own? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
