The leader has like an 8 footer to save par on the at 3. If he misses and Jordan make....will be interesting. But both will be practicing those distances BIG TIME on the putting green before hand.

The slow play in this tournament has been a joke. The last group in the final round had @ 1.5 open holes in front of them - after six holes. The announcers kept harping on it and saying that the round before the same group was *46* minutes behind the group in front of them on the back. Forty six minutes! I turned it off after Jordan was through @ 9 holes or so last night.

This is probably even worse than the Jacobsen group at Torrey yesterday.

Why do Tours refuse to hand out penalty strokes???

Yeah I don't know what the deal is. The prevailing thought is that oft times Asian players can be more deliberate as a whole. Now I'm not about to make such a sweeping generalization, and I'm not sure how many groups were on the clock other than Spieth's, who was not in the final group.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that his group didn't slow down the rest, but who knows really. It's gonna take a few years before this pace policy doesn';t seem totally awkward in its enforcement. Everybody looks out of their element, including the marshals.

I wasn't aware Spieth's group was on the clock on the final nine? Now that final group being 46 minutes out of position :swoon: thats some drama building there.

If you hang around the forums long enough then you'll hear it. Before anyone jumps on my case, I didn't make it up nor am I even supporting it. Matter of fact I kind of said the opposite :dntknw:

Final group was 1.5 holes behind and 45 min out of position during another round. Spieth was in neither of those groups. I don;t know everything that happened, but it would seem odd that the grouping on either day was not warned or put on the clock, being so far out of position, wouldn't it?

Congrats to Song Young Han!

Guaranteed that-

1. You had zero clue who this guy was before this week.

2. If Jordan Speith had not entered this event you would have never posted in this thread.

It's pretty obvious that I only follow events with high profile Americans...or Rory

Also, I didn't just post in this threa - I am the OP.

You went radio silent just as JS went on his amazing run last year. Coincidence? I think not. So you be fibbin' if you say you "follow" high profile Americans- doesn't get any bigger than him..

Are you doing the Leopalace21 Myanmar Open next week? I think it's the last year at Royal Mingalardon Golf and Country Club before they potentially move to Phun Hlaing next year, so I would be very interested to get your thoughts on that, and how Zaw Moe will get on as home favourite.

Why do Tours refuse to hand out penalty strokes???

For once the guys can learn from the gals....the LPGA rules officials have no issues handing out penalty strokes for slow play on the LPGA....I believe Angela Park was penalized when she was in contention...I'm sure there have been others including the penalty to Morgan Pressel at the 2012 Sybase match play event....she eventually lost her semi's match against Azahara Munoz and there was no one behind them.
