Is my putter head bent?

Nike requests that I send the club in for them to look at. Seems like it will be free for me if I take it into a nike retailer.

They have to set up a courtesy claim and we go from there.

That's had an incredible amount of force put to it somehow. I had a method 001 and asked Nike if I could torch it. They told me I should not as it would likely melt the polymer. So it's not heat but blunt force trauma!

Yes I have. The seller is willing to refund my purchase price if I so chose.

I want the putter, so I'm trying to resolve it without a refund if I can but if Nike can't do anything to help I will most likely be returning it to the seller.

I believe it was USPS. The box was not damaged.

Got the putter back via FedEx today. No communication from Nike prior, it just showed up with this note. The claim status online still says "Open"

I guess you have your answer...Nike says it is not bent.

 

It looked "off" in the photos...unfortunate outcome.

How can they say "no defect found during inspection?" It's clearly bent.

I think that what the letter actually states is that the club is still playable. It is clearly bent to all of us, however it is not "unplayable".

I agree. I can understand them not doing anything since it's well outside the warranty period.

It's definitely bent. It is also "playable".

 

Im going to keep the putter. The seller has been very helpful and stood by his sale. He offered to issue and refund and everything.

 

The putter is playable and the the issue I was having with it sitting square isn't as much of an issue on the greens vs. a hard surface.

 

I am disappointed with Nike's response.
