Driver issue - anyone know what might have happend?

I've never experienced this before, hoping someone might have a clue of anything that may have happend.

I recently ordered a Ping G from a reputable club builder with an aftermarket shaft and factory Ping tip. When it came it was perfect and the lettering on the grip matched right down the center. I messed with other loft settings but settled on standard. Everything had been fine for about a month now when over the weekend the grip appears to of moved to my left looking down. It's not a massive movement but noticeable. The club appears to be all fine and in tact. I reattached the head with the wrench and it clicked on. I have no idea how a grip could move like that on its own.

I hit this thing so bad this weekend but it could have been mental, it also could have been that the face is wide open.

Does anyone have any feedback or idea? Thanks

Ask the builder if the grip was blown on or if it was installed with solvent + double sided tape. Most of the time they do well but sometimes grips that are blown on can slip/shift a bit.

Is the whole grip out of alignment or just the lower portion? It could be that the tape was cut short and doesn't go far enough towards the end of the grip.

It's the whole grip. It's like the whole thing perfectly moved left.

If the grip is still aligned properly with no twist to it and the grip lettering/shaft graphics are still correct, the grip may not have slipped. It is possible that the glue bond between the shaft and tip has failed.

Wonder if the glue let go on the tip? If you are a righty, that might be the case? Doubt the grip would move?! Better check both! ;)

Probably the grip was blown on and there was still a air bubble

If the glue is loose, do you think I'd be able to twist or move the tip? I tried twisting the head and tip with force and it doesnt move in the least bit.

I may have to just take it in the shop for them to test.
