The false starts, the heavy meds, the last rights(My BFF said it was simply that neither God nor the Devil wanted me so I had no choice but to wake up).....

 

It's kinda funny because after I woke up with that Priest wavin that friggin cross above me before I sent it flying across the room, I've been at peace, really for the first time since this odyssey began....

 

I also accept that my days as a Player are over but hey, that's what the memories are for...

All of this has given me a chance to come to a few realizations that I had taken for granted before~

Lately, it seems like every other day I am hearing about someone I know facing a serious health issue. I'm 49 and I get that this is how it goes but reality just keeps reminding me how fleeting good health can be.

HaHaHa, it's so funny that you say that because Ava(6yo) was sitting next to me when I was reading one of his posts and she said "Daddy's pages look like mine" and she just found that so funny, lol. In defense of him with vision out of only one eye, and with that eye blurred due to his meds, he has a hard time reading a normal formatted paragraph. It was funny because the only time that I think he ever had his feelings hurt on the board was when HoustonHater(Richard doesn't have a great memory now but I do, lol) mocked him for the way he formats his paragraphs. Where you and I are teasing him and it would be like a lot of these guys and he laughs about it, HH was taking a shot at him and while he's had others take shots and he does find it amusing, however that bothered him. He stayed off of the board for two days trying to type regular paragraphs however his grammar was horrific with run ons and then he started misspelling words. He finally said screw it and just went back to the way he has since he lost his sight in his eye. However I laughed so hard when I read your post and I know Richard will also.
