I think the Dolphin's Devon Achane is a former track star. Of course, once they join an

NFL team, no matter if they were formerly ballerinas or track and field guys, they

become NFL players, haha.

... and they can't be a deer in the headlights when it comes to catching the ball.  There was a former Seahawk who practiced ballet in the off season... said it gave him better footwork.

Al Davis was notorious for signing guys based solely on ridiculous athleticism. Sprinters, QB that could throw the ball 65 yards from his knee… It was a bonus (and a big surprise) if they could actually produce on the field. 😆

Ya, Tua took judo in the offseason to learn how to fall better and reduce the chances of injury.

People asked him about it. He said "I didn't take it to become dangerous, I took it to reduce

the danger to me".
