The barns I’m seeing are nicer  than most houses . I guess you could just build another house. But taxes are cheaper on a barn , you get the added benefit of 1800-3000 square feet of storage space. 😂

50 years later I’m almost over Rodger’s run back. I was at the game. 13 y/ o. It took my Dad months to get over that one.

I think that is my first memory of college football, 8 years old. Grandpa jumping up and down on the couch. I miss the NU-OU rivalry. Such great games. And so much mutual respect. And man  I loved watching them run the wishbone.  
 

If it makes you feel any better, I’ve never seen (in person)  NU beat OU in Lincoln. Makes it especially worse to be there.

Yep it was windy here. Our first hole is wide open as far as no trees. Usually when I hit a decent drive it is driver 7 iron or Driver 9 wood in. Yesterday I hit driver and hit it good and had to mash the 5 wood to get it on the front of the green, Barely got on. That was the only hole I actually hit driver on because I was working mostly on approach putting and chipping. Well that was until #7. Usually there with a good drive it is either Driver 9 Wood or 7 wood in for me. I ended up hitting a 5 wood in. That is at what we call the crossroads where 7&8 and 12&13 cross. The owners sons were playing and were there. The younger one gave me crap because I was short of the green. I told him I hit both the driver and 5 wood good. He quipped but you were still short because the pin was on the very back. I told him the only way I could get it back there was if I hit the driver off the deck good and ran it up. He is only 22yoa. I told him wait until he got old. I played 8&9 with them. On 9 the wind was so bad I could not get the drive down far enough to get the 2nd over the swamp. Had to lay up. Hit the 5 wood on the 3rd shot left me 140 into the green. Did manage to get the 9 wood on to about 20 feet and lipped out the par putt. Yeah the wind was getting it. Usually for me on 9 it is driver 5 wood wedge or 9 iron. I had went out to work on my approaches, chipping and putting but in retrospect it could have been a fun 9 holes with the vintage stuff. I decided not to push the issue since I had played and/or hit balls 6 days straight this week I went home and they went to the back side

Yep I was watching. Nothing against Nelly because I like her too. But I was pulling for Lydia so she would be a shoe in for the LPGA HOF. I was also supporting the LPGA for the fact they did not bow down to the self proclaimed all mighty NFL and kept their schedule as usual.
