I had it really bad before I had my right hip replaced. It would take me 5 minutes to get 

a sock and shoe on my right foot as I tried to approach the process from different angles

and sitting vs standing.

 

One of the first things I noticed after the surgery. I told the nurse as I was getting ready

to go home..."Look, I'm putting on my sock and shoe!" She's looking at me like I'm a child

who just figured out how to tie my shoes.🙂

There's one in Upland like a block from my tattooer's old shop. Pretty much ate there every single time I was out there!

Yeah, butt implants are getting almost as prevalent as breast implants. Not sure exactly how I know bcs I’ve never had plastic surgery or Botox. (Probably because I’m immersed in the gym life/scene and it just comes w/the territory???) But Botox is used to prevent wrinkles. It doesn’t plump up body parts. Implants for the butt are typically either silicone implants similar the ones used for breasts or fat removed from somewhere else and put into the booty. I’d bet almost every other chick on Instagram in leggings has one or the other. 

And that has been butt implants w/TiScape 😊

Naah because I am guilty of doing the same. I have also been guilty of making Pizza crust using canned biscuits. I will confess my favorite store bought pizza is those little Chef Boy Ardee pizza kits where you mix the crust and they have the sauce in the cans. Far as frozen Pizza we like the Red Baron ones. My cousin her husband made a mint off of Red Baron Pizza. He started back in the 70s as a side job selling the infra red ovens and Pizzas to beer joints etc. He ended up with 3 distributorships in the 80s. He and her are long gone now and I do not know if his second son took over. Their first son was born blind. One of those things I have not heard from them in over 40 years

I’m in that nostalgic mood recently. I’m lucky to be still here and wake up in a good mood every day.

 

Contrary to the false persona I use as a grumpy old fart, I’m not that in real life. I’m actually a nice guy who appreciates thoughtful, non-idiots. 🙂

 

 

 

 

You never know---- That is why maybe selfishly I have always lived my life doing what I wanted to do. Got a FB PM yesterday a friend I used to race with got Killed on a Motorcycle Tuesday Morning. Freaky accident as in he hit a Deer. He was only 49 yoa. Yeah he was just a 21 year old kid when I raced against him. Kinda floored me yesterday to say the least. Actually just "talked" to him on FB last week on one of the racing sites. @bladehunter may have known him since he was from Pacolet SC and got killed in Spartanburg and was a well known racer in the upstate SC area

My wife is about 115 lbs. and can bend over straight legged and put her palms on floor. She looks like a fitness model, but thankfully would never go to yoga class. Or drag me to one. I be a lucky guy. 🙂

 

My supplemental insurance offered me a free gym membership as part of my "benefits" For the same type of people you stated I would not go. I told the company I did not feel I needed to go one thing any program would have to have written authorization from my Neurologist to cover me with the other insurance company. The other thing is in good weather I play golf 3 to 5 times a week and do yard work. When I mentioned the other insurance company with requirements and authorizations they promptly clammed up.

I went through some crap when I was recovering from some of these supposed "medical professionals". Now my Docs I could not say anything about. They were a great team. The W/C insurance people were great too. The crap I caught was from the Physical Therapists. My Docs knew this that my goal was to be able to play golf and enjoy my retirement. They had no problem with that at all. In fact my shoulder Doc played golf himself and gave orders on my shoulder therapy to help my shoulder turn. One of my Neurologists was the one who suggested I may have to stand more upright and take a shorter backswing to prevent injury in the future. He actually took the time to show me the mechanics of it body wise.

In PT one day I ran into a golf buddy that was rehabbing from a fall. We were doing our prescribed exercises and talking golf. I told him I was trying to be able to play again. This Karen therapist heard us and told me "My goal should not be worrying about golf but getting in condition to get back in a truck and back to work."  I snorted at her BS. I was retired when I got hurt and was not planning on getting back in a truck" I also told her she needed to READ my file from the Docs. She wrote in my file I was uncooperative and belligerent. I found that out when I visited my Neurologist and he got a big laugh. He noted in my file that basically she was full of BS and I was fully about myself trying to rehab. I had orders from him and it was in my file I was not to climb ladders in any way. One of the therapists wanted me to do a ladder exercise which I refused. Now my Neurology team and shoulder team sent regular reports to my Doc who has been my doc for years along with being a golf bud. That therapist wrote in my file I was refusing to do exercises. I called my Doc and told him. He had also told me not to climb ladders. He fired them off a scalding letter and informed my Neurologist who he knows a copy. The Neurologist fired them a letter as in READ HIS FILE NO LADDER exercises PERIOD. 

When my evaluation came up I failed certain sessions due to not doing the exercises properly. The guy from the State Industrial Commission found out I had not been properly supervised. Seems in a session you are supposed to have 1 therapist to 2 people. This place most sessions only had 2 therapists to like 10 people. That is when I hired the lawyers. I had to go through 6 more weeks at another facility being properly supervised. Yep I sued for additional pain and suffering and the WC insurance sued them too. I think the State fined them too. I know that place which is directly behind me has closed down. I got my original settlement from the accident and upon the lawyers advice held off on the Therapy Company. We settled only after the state fined them. Yeah I went through enough with the accident itself without the other crap.

 I make it through the introductory maneuvers. Eventually we get to something called “figure 4’s”,  which hurt. The class leader tells us to embrace the pain. (😳💪)  Next up is something on all fours. I tell Mrs DT this is something we could practice back in our condo.     Whoops!

 

Good behavior points now are screwed, so I bail. 

I stretch every morning but I do it at my own pace in my man cave. Feel like crap if I don't but I'm not going out in public with a bunch of people I don't know and doing it. You should get big points just for doing it once.😁

You I admire sir!  There is a wide gulf between what I know I should be doing and what I can force myself to do. Stretching is a no brainer for me but I hate it with a passion.

But we all have style and appearance preferences. The Khardashians have been the standard for many younger folks for a while. Brash, buxom and booty. IMO one of the darker periods of modern history. My kids think I’m a dinosaur, stuck in the Jurassic period. 
 

I lean towards tall, skinny and athletic. My wife is 120# and crazy fit.  (She’s always on me to exercise, fortunately I like to ride bikes, but at 6’2” 205# I could stand to lose 10 lbs). Whenever we go to the pool or beach she asks, “does my butt look big”?

 

There is of course only one correct answer, “Your butt is perfect dear”. 
 

Fortunately this happens to be the truth, but it doesn’t hurt to embellish a little.

I don’t like a booty like Kim K’s. (Looks to me like a garbage bag full of cottage cheese) But on the other end of the spectrum, a flat butt is a tot turn off. Give me a firm round bubble butt somewhere in between and I’m happy. If that’s there, I’m more than okay with not much on top. My GF’s assets (pun intended) were one of the first things I noticed about her and it’s all real and a gift from the booty gods! 😂 “does my butt look big?” yes and thank you! 😇 She also loves her big(ish) booty and works hard on leg day to maintain it.

I love pastrami on rye and sourdough (Togos actually has a killer pastrami on white). And yes, at Katz’s 1/3 of the price is the name!
